Craft Clerkenwell tasting. Thanks to Aaron. Cloudy amber - brown beer. Little pale cream coloured head. Airy fluffy palate, dry. Light yeast. Light cherry sourness, not overdone. Finishes dry and airy. Okay if a bit dry.

Cloudy amber color, creamy head. Light aroma of hazelnuts and cherry pits, then some cherry, with a sour impression. Highly carbonated, a bit salty, with some yeast spiciness, light cherry fruitiness, and moderate final astringency. A bit rough but good.

Capped 750 from Market of Choice in West Linn, OR. Pours dark murky amber with a transient beige head. Foam tried to escape the bottle. Aroma of sour cherries with cooked light pitted fruit. Near med body. Flavor is sour cherry with something of cooked fruit. Mostly sour cherry. Earthy. Sour. Flavorful. Very nice.

Pours a murky orange-red color with an off-white head. There is a very nice cherry aroma to this. Plenty of sweet fruit, a mild tartness, and some citrus zest. A hint of grass and mild barrel/wood character. The flavor is a bit watered down, it seems, but there is a very nice cherry character. Lots of fruit skins, too. Some grass, a bit of lemon zest, and mild wood. A moderate tartness, a bit of red wine, and a fair amount of yeast.

Bottle in NH thanks to Wally. Pours cloudy, golden-brown with a fine, creamy, off-white head. Lightly tangy and dank cherries in the aroma. Light to medium sweet flavor with ripe and faint tart cherries, mild funk, some bitter cherry pits. Light to medium bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Lightly juicy. Very nice stuff overall.

Bottle... This beer rocks!… Cloudy burnt-caramel ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. The bouquet is lightly funky and mildly acidic with a whisper of spice. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with moderate carbonation. The flavor is clean and tart with some nice cherry essence. Finishes tangy, clean and dry. Muchos kudos to landhoney for sharing this world class beer with the South Florida crew!

Bottle in Mesa. Pours a hazy, deep reddish maroon appearance with a pinkish head that doesn’t have the best retention. Cherry, tart berry, vinous, blackberry, pie-like, sour aroma. Tangy, somewhat acetic, a bit funky, juicy, dark berry, cherry flavor. Decent but disappointing.

750mL thanks to brainlair and ryan. Pours murky deep ruby to black tea red. Medium tan head. Wispy lacing. Nose is muted, small back cherry dessert/clafoutis. Biscuit and dough. Taste is tangy, pithy red cherries, no off flavors, thicker lactic acid. Enjoyable. Minerally, dairy heavy, richer than expected. No acetic acid. Nice stuff.
