3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Taster at DBS. Light brown color with a red hue. Cherry flavored of course, decent beer, but not quite as balanced as I thought it should be.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy deep red with no head whatsoever. Aroma is full of bitter and dry cherries with a touch of acid and a hint of sweetness underlying. Flavor is full of pie cherries with a dry finish and a bit of acid and funk towards the finish.

On tap at Raglan, San Diego.
Sour lactic and cherry aroma with some sweetness. Cloudy tawny brown under no head. Gently sour red cherry flavour that quickly fades to water. Very clean but leaves me wanting a bit more sourness. Subtle butterscotch vanilla oak. Light body, low carbonation, almost crisp.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Un jus musclé et machable qui gagne le bras de fer avec l’acidité timide. Une fine touche acétique et un mordant tannique ajoutent à la complexité. Un peu lourde à mon goût mais pleins de qualités. Pas le profil Logsdon habituel.

Not quite a kriek like a traditional fruit lambic. Nice nose of oak and cherries. Lighter fruit than expected, but solid across the board. Only mildly sour with little pucker. Easy to enjoy, but not among the elite.

750ml waxed bottle. Poured a mahogany color with a thin sized head. I would say this would be a nice intro to this style for some as it was overall on the softer side - not too much cherries nor not the tartness/twang Flanders can be. Not bad, but left me with wanting ’more’.

(Tap) this is an awesome sour. Tastes a bit like wine and would pair with chocolate very well. A bit thin and dissolves quickly in the mouth. Otherwise, great!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours murky reddish brown with a pink head.
The aroma combines tart berry, hay and funky yeast.
The flavor is subdued fruit, lightly tart.
OK but I’ll take any of the New Glarus fruit beers over this.
