COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fresh Hop Beer 2011 - We spent the hot summer day hand selecting 9 varieties of organic hops growing at our friends Eric and Jennifer Miller Larch Creek Farms in Dufur, Oregon. We drove them straight to the brewery and loaded up our conditioning tank with Seizoen and all the fresh hops we could stuff in.

750 ml bottle poured. Pours a cloudy, light orange color with a foam head that actually resembled Mt. Hood. Strange, yet awesome. Huge, tangy orange aroma. Flavor is sweet and tart orange fruit, with the tart lingering. Standing hop profile, with a dry finish. Overall a standout, exceptional beer. Loved it.

(En fût à Stout Burgers): Un nez très herbacé, évanescent de citronelle et de brett savonneux. En bouche c’est un oreiller confortable, juteux et poussiéreux. Superbe.

Bottle : Well. It pours fluffy white - heavy and condensed - you know the type - it just gets everywhere and never quite leaves - The nose is ridiculous - I don’t necessarily mean that in a good way - bready, citrus, heavy hop esters, florals. The flavor profile reveals funky citrus, musty basement, with a high pitched bittering that comes across as sharp and somewhat obnoxious - it tones itself down on the finish line, revealing the bready notes and feint pineapple -

Cloudy yeasty ugly logsdon pour with chunks of yeast in the fluffy head. Aroma is strong green hoppiness with typical yeasty farmhouse basement and dust. Taste is tart and quite bitter.

Bottle thanks to Ontape ! Pours a medium golden color with three fingers of white fizzy foam. Nose is bright floral hay, soft melon, rustic biscuit malt and hint of yeast phenols. Palate follows with crisp tiny bubbled carbonation, biscuit, citrus peel, spicy yeast. Refreshing.

750ml bottle shared thanks to Lukaduke! Pours cloudy pale orange with 2 finger head. Nose has bright herbal grass, soft citrus, melon rind, hay. Tastse is similar with a soft mouthfeel, grassy herbal citrus, wet hay, touch of dough, cantaloupe, melon, dry. Finishes dry with greens, grass, orange, hay. Nice.

750ml bottle from John’s Marketplace. Pours a hazy, yellow-amber color with a nice white head. A bit of a gusher. Aroma is fruity, some citrus hops, grapefruit. Medium on the palate with lively carbonation. Flavor is a little funky, Brett, yeast, hints of banana, clove, some bitter citrus hops, bitter orange peel maybe, with a light, bitter finish. Very tasty.

Pour out of 750mL bottle, slightly hazy golden pour with white lacing head, aroma brought brett, pineapple flesh, hints of orange peel, mango, hints of biscuit, some slight tart lemon, lacto, oak, nice. Taste was a mix of lemon, oak, dank, resinous notes into nice earthy notes, touch of pineapple, mango, hints of slight funk, finishing fairly bitter, slightly tart, dry.
