Our organic Oak Aged Brett is made with our Seizoen Bretta that is aged for a period of time to develop the wood aged character in the beer. Oak Tannins, vanilla notes and subtle smoky spiciness soften and mellow this beer over time. The aged unfiltered beer is refermented and carbonated in the bottle with select yeast strains to provide added dryness and complexity.

Visual: Warning! Super gusher for a minute or two, have a glass ready to catch the 99% head. Pours cloudy orange-brown with a ridiculously large ultra foamy head, lots of sticky lacing, several slow streams. Nose: sour barnyard, minor tangerine/orange citrus (lvl-5)-pungency. Attack: foamy head, fizzy-tingly mouthfeel, incoming sweetness Mid-palate: balanced (lvl-6)-sweetness, medium sourness/tang, brightness, (MAIN) (lvl-3) non-invasive barnyard, lemon, seltzer, apricot, stonefruit malts Finish: bitter hops, mild oak exhale Summary: Initial sips had a metallic flavour from the bottle cap but subsequent sips were clean. Extremely balanced sweet-sour-tang-flavour profile, with sweetness tipping the balance slightly. Great structure with the only minus being the metallic off-taste.

hazy orange, puffy white cap drops but laces well. Sweet fruit nose, edges with some dusty brett, peppery esters but almost so acidic it’s bright. Lightly stinging fruit at front, dusty, earthy mid, tons of wheat before the metallic, lightly cheesy, heavily hot finish that burns jowl. Fizzy carbonation body too full, leaves stomach blasted.

750ml bottle from New Seasons in Sellwood, split with my bride. Pours a cloudy amber color with a big white head. A bit of a gusher. Aroma is fruity, lemon, some light oak. Medium on the palate with soft carbonation. Flavor is sweet and tart, oak, yeasty-Brett, some lemon citrus, a good bit of funk, some bitterness, with a tart finish that lasts for a while. Very nice.

Bottle thanks to Matt! Pours a hazy orange gold with a large white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a nice light tartness with a bit of flora, funk and barrel as well as a touch of dry grass. Flavor starts with light sweet grains, flora and with a good amount of woodiness and a light tartness. A touch of dryness in the finish as well.

Tasting at Bruce’s Pad. Very hazy gold beer, good fluffy pale cream coloured head. Palate is airy and crisp. Slightly salty brett seltzer. Light floral lemon with a whisper of candy. Light finish. Bitterish linger. Bit heavy on the brett but decent.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Paul. Pours cloudy gold with a creamy white head. The nose has licks of sweat, peach, apricot. Light-medium sweet flavor, a bit of poopy brett, some bitter citrus rind. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Nicely balanced to finish with mellow warmth, some lemony tang, more moderate bitter citrus rind. Very nice.
