Our organic Oak Aged Brett is made with our Seizoen Bretta that is aged for a period of time to develop the wood aged character in the beer. Oak Tannins, vanilla notes and subtle smoky spiciness soften and mellow this beer over time. The aged unfiltered beer is refermented and carbonated in the bottle with select yeast strains to provide added dryness and complexity.

Small sample from bottle, at a 4th of July tasting. Gusher bottle, like every beer I’ve had from Logsdon. The remaining contents were nice though - a fine farmhouse ale. Brett and oak in aroma and flavour. Might well sample again.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy orange-amber color with generous head. The aroma is lightly fruity and funky, mild but nice. The mouthfeel is dry, highly carbonated; vinous flavor, a lot of wood, too much wood, hence astringent in the final, not so pleasant.
Chaotic beer. I wouldn’t want to drink a full glass of it.

Bottle from VP Aker Brygge enjoyed at home
A super gusher! Sadly, because this was good stuff. Well, it pours orange, quite hazy, big beige head. Smell of funk, hints of tart fruits , oak, spices, clove, light malts, quite complex and inviting. Light sweet, super fruity, some tart fruits and some acids, oak vanilla, a pletora of complexity. Moderate bitter, fruit peel finish. Very nice stuff. The Seizoen has changed to a butterfly in this barrel age version. Amazing

This poured a hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma was of citrus fruits, grassy hops, light Brett and earth. Flavor similar, light tartness, earthy, fruity, but still a bit dry. An all around nice beverage.
