COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our organic Oak Aged Brett is made with our Seizoen Bretta that is aged for a period of time to develop the wood aged character in the beer. Oak Tannins, vanilla notes and subtle smoky spiciness soften and mellow this beer over time. The aged unfiltered beer is refermented and carbonated in the bottle with select yeast strains to provide added dryness and complexity.

750 ml bottle to stemmed taster (shared by GAbell). Looks good; a cloudy apricot with eggshell head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells bretty and oaky with notes of yeast and fruit. Tastes like it smells with a semi-dry, medium-bodied mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

750 ml bottle, thanks Swarts. Pours an opaque golden orange, similar to the color of grapefruit juice, lasting white head and moderate lacing. Aroma is Brett funk, wood, smoke and vanilla. Flavor is same with lactic tart finish. Medium bodied, bright carbonation, tangy funk finish.

Served alongside the standard version. Thanks Darrell. Hazy orange / yellow body with a small head that quickly diminishes to but a thin wisp. Aromas of oak, straw, hay, herbal scents. Remarkably similar to the standard version, though with a more pronounced tannic nature. Wood and subtle hints of tart fruit, finishing dry. Tasty.

750ml bottle pours a hazy, burnt orange with some creamy, white head. Nose has a little bit of curry powder, grasses, some dried fruit, apple. Flavor has some fruity sweetness, bits of pepper, herbal, vegetal too, a little buttery, some apple skins. Buttery finish.

GABF. Hazy straw hue with white head. Aroma is lactic, straw, oak, peppercorn. Medium light body and zesty carbonation. Taste is dry sweetness with a tart following and peppercorn finish. Overall this beer is fantastic.

Straw golden. Aroma is mild straw and funk. Taste is effervescent and easy going. Very mild funk so subtle almost non existent. Mild creaminess. Overall, easy going saison and feel not enough sour. Mild windy character.

Dark golden in color with foamy white head... Aroma of bananas, cloves, spices, doughy notes... Flavor is oak, candi sugar, caramel malts, slight funk and spices on finish... Not much brett to be honest, more sweet than dry ... A little disappointed ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750 bottle, shared with my wife. Pours an opaque amber with some tiny bubbles. Fruity brett aroma, oak and vanilla in the back. Taste has more of the same. I’m not getting much sourness -- just lots of brett and oak, somewhat sweet. Long, complex finish -- finally a touch of tartness near the end, swallowed up by toasty oak. Very good, but in all honesty the regular version at half the price is the one I prefer.
