COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our organic Oak Aged Brett is made with our Seizoen Bretta that is aged for a period of time to develop the wood aged character in the beer. Oak Tannins, vanilla notes and subtle smoky spiciness soften and mellow this beer over time. The aged unfiltered beer is refermented and carbonated in the bottle with select yeast strains to provide added dryness and complexity.

Bottle split at Bruce’s pad, big thanks to the Croydon connection, 08/04/14. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is tangy citrus fruit, straw, apricot, peach, tarte mandarin, funky wood. Taste comprises pithy orange, peach, mango, light must, hint of mild acidity, woody tinge, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid sour affair.

Tasting at Bruce’s Pad. Very hazy gold beer, good fluffy pale cream coloured head. Palate is airy and crisp. Slightly salty brett seltzer. Light floral lemon with a whisper of candy. Light finish. Bitterish linger. Bit heavy on the brett but decent.

Leighton (9855) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 8, 2014
Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Paul. Pours cloudy gold with a creamy white head. The nose has licks of sweat, peach, apricot. Light-medium sweet flavor, a bit of poopy brett, some bitter citrus rind. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Nicely balanced to finish with mellow warmth, some lemony tang, more moderate bitter citrus rind. Very nice.

Bottle thanks to me. It pours cloudy orange-amber with a massive yellow-white head. The nose is earthy, wood, brett, vanilla, toasty coconut, orange peel and Irn Bru. It pours tart, earthy, wood, dirt, orange peel, tangerine, wood, minerals, touch of acidity, sherbet, dough and sour candy with a dry, bretty finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Super-delicious. Very, very drinkable. I love it.

750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours cloudy golden with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of Brett, some light oak and vanilla, pale and caramel malts, hints of fruits and spices. Flavor the same with a great blend. Average texture. A cool beer.

750 ml beeswax dipped bottle, thanks brenn79. Aroma is bretty dusty basement, floral, spices, oak, light banana, wheat cracker. From 1st glass (clear copper-golden with soapy head and lace) to the 2nd glass (cloudy orange with cobwebby lace) is a huge change in appearance. Taste is candy sweet (not cloying), earthy, lightly tart, woody; finishes pretty dry. Nice.

750 ml bottle, shared with Poisoneddwarf- Aroma is sweet, bretty, basement barnyard funk, coriander, banana, very complex. Appearance is cloudy (on the second glass) golden with a nice white head that never quite goes away. Taste is funky, bretty sweetness, Banana and clove, very yeasty. Classic barnyard funky brew!

2013 bottle. Hazy dark amber with a creamy off white head. Light and pleasant sour and brett aroma with some funk, mild yeast, some oak and a bit of lemon rind. Moderate carbonation and body, hint of sweetness at first but then more funk and tart, some apricot, oak and overall tasty.

Pour is copper toned amber, hazy, with an off white thick head. Nose is stingy brett, lemon and leather dominate with notes of citrus. Taste has some malt notes, lighter body and nicely carbonated. Oak is again faint if present, strong Brett and a touch of sweet malt. Strong leather and a fair bit of lemon with a lighter citrus note. Biting finish, semi dry, a bit sweet of malt.
