COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our organic Oak Aged Brett is made with our Seizoen Bretta that is aged for a period of time to develop the wood aged character in the beer. Oak Tannins, vanilla notes and subtle smoky spiciness soften and mellow this beer over time. The aged unfiltered beer is refermented and carbonated in the bottle with select yeast strains to provide added dryness and complexity.

Bottle at Cafe Sara, december 27th 2014. Cloudy orange body with a small offwhite head. Aroma is fruity with brett funk, oak, spicy. Taste is medium sour, a mild sweetness plays with cloves and grapefruit, extremely dry and refreshing with a brett/grapefruit aftertaste. Awesome!

Draft at Beer Authority, Seattle. Rich orange-brown, lacing gray head. Intense, sweet, bretty aroma. A bit juicy-tart, apricot, finishes quite dry. Tart-bitter, a bit waxy, juicy brett throughout. Solid, tasty, a bit much.

Shared 750ml to chalices. Oak characteristics are subtle but the harsh tartness of the regular version is smoothed out, while losing some of the fruitiness.

On tap @ Logsdon Barrel House. Pours slightly hazy medium yellow golden with thin lacy white head. Aroma is dry cracker malt, faint pleasant tartness on the back. Only slight oaky notes. Taste is similar, tartness is more prominent and comes on quicker. Great beer.

On tap at the tasting room - Pours hazy yellow / orange with a dense white head. The aroma has oak, stone fruit, bugs, wild yeast and a lushness. It has a medium rich body with some soft carbonation. The flavor starts with lush frothy malt, super softness, some raw oakiness, vanilla and wild yeast. The is what was in the initial taste, but is super soft. Liked this one.

Bottle; Pour is murky medium golden - theres a modest, fine bubbled white head into this glass - it retains fairly well here, with modest lacing presence.Sour / Wild Ale? I would lean towards the Saison category based on my tasting experience. But No Matter - The nose provides some light tropicals and dusty oak - It is enticing. The flavor profile reveals more depth of character - Initial juicy, tropical sharp spiced notes, clear oaked notes with feint vanilla, but unfortunately it does fade a touch on the tongue here. Theres a touch of lemon grass and doughy bread that isnt perfect, with a dry note.

750 ml bottle, some light gushing. Pours a cloudy bright orange color with a large white head. A big funky citrus and yeast nose. Oranges, tea, some funky brett, tannins, sweet vanilla. Solid easy drinking brew. Nice palate.
