Our organic Oak Aged Brett is made with our Seizoen Bretta that is aged for a period of time to develop the wood aged character in the beer. Oak Tannins, vanilla notes and subtle smoky spiciness soften and mellow this beer over time. The aged unfiltered beer is refermented and carbonated in the bottle with select yeast strains to provide added dryness and complexity.

Pours a hazy, yellow orange appearance with an off white head. Somewhat herbal/woody, a bit spicy yeasty, lemony aroma. Moderately dry, a bit funky, lemony citrusy, vanilla flavor. There was a real light hint of veggie in the nose but that probably was just the oak.

750 ml bottle to stemmed taster (shared by GAbell). Looks good; a cloudy apricot with eggshell head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells bretty and oaky with notes of yeast and fruit. Tastes like it smells with a semi-dry, medium-bodied mouthfeel. Enjoyable.
