Hella good! Pours a hazy gold color with a nice fluffy white head. Funky yeasty goodness, earthy flavors, oak, brett, leather, some light fruity notes. Love it.

Hazy orange pour with a tall white head. Nice tartness on the aroma. Lots of stone fruit aromas such as peach, nectarine, and apricot. Some green apple, lemon zest, and a mild malt sweetness. Light oak and grass aromas. The flavor has some sweet bread, vanilla, and fruits. Lots of peach and nectarine, some lemon zest, a bit of straw, and grass. Some lactic and citric tartness on the finish.

Bottle @ Crooked Stave ROY-G-BIV Day. Pours a hazy, yellow orange appearance with an off white head. Somewhat herbal/woody, a bit spicy yeasty, lemony aroma. Moderately dry, a bit funky, lemony citrusy, vanilla flavor. There was a real light hint of veggie in the nose but that probably was just the oak. Anyhow, I didn’t like this one as much as the non-oaked version.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 bb (5888) - Alamo, California, USA - JAN 4, 2013
Bottle. Amber beer with a big cream head. Tart and lemon aroma with light vanilla, light oak, and light spice. Tart and light spice flavor with light oak, light yeast, and light vanilla. Medium bodied. Oak and spice lingers with yeast and light vanilla.

750mL beeswax thanks to brainlair. Pours a full haze deeper peach with a large, dense, yellowish head. Excellent retention. Nose is quite white wine barrel funky like Russian River Temptation. Beautiful sweet orange, curaçao, vanilla, peach ice cream. Really awesome. Taste is delicious: funky, briney, sharp saltwater and spicy wine barrel. Palate is really bouyant and clean. Beautiful lacing. A real winner from this brewery. Just a tad papery in the finish. Reminds me a bit of Cable Car.

750, capped, light wax. Pours a cloudy burnished medium gold with a surging, towering white head. Rings of loose drippy white lace. Big tangy basement nose, showing nice fruity tones as well--the brett is doing beautiful things here. Great oak presence as well, but it’s an accent, rather than a sweaty wooden stave crawling up your nose. Creamy medium body with lots of lively carb, but not prickliness or ticklishness. Oranges, basement, and a bit of balsamic on the mid palate, also showing some sweetness and fresh-cut wood presence from the oak. Mild, slightly peppery finish. Very appealing, dimensional, and refreshing. Great stuff.
4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 badlizard (5160) - Berkeley, California, USA - MAY 21, 2013
Bottle. Cloudy orange with a fluffy off white head. Fruity caramel, vanilla, Brett and oak aroma and taste with a nice tart green apple, caramel, and oak finish. Peach and apricot flavors become more prominent as the beer warms. Smooth, soft, silky, and bright palate.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - DEC 12, 2012
Bottle:   Fiery amber, hazy, large rocky white head, sticky lacing.   Bright floral nose, barnish, a bit floral as well.   Bright woodiness on the tongue, very oakish, tart, has a slight dry sweetness to it as well.   Very simple, but oakish, dry, tart, has a slight fruity flair to it.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   This one seems to be the quitisential woody oak style sour ale.   I have no idea how to spell quintisential...   Very clean, oakish, tart, dry, and just plain ole tasty.   One of the better Logsdon beers I have had.   Tasty!

Huge thanks to boralyl for sending this bottle out my way. Served in a Logsdon cervoise. Pours a clear golden with a huge fluffy white head. A bit of a gusher. Nose is about the same as normal Bretta. Mild funk and leather plus backing cherry and faint citrus. Slight oak in finish.

Very nice, the oak adds some tannci wood, it is stil yet a bit funkier than the original bretta.
