2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy orange-amber color with generous head. The aroma is lightly fruity and funky, mild but nice. The mouthfeel is dry, highly carbonated; vinous flavor, a lot of wood, too much wood, hence astringent in the final, not so pleasant.
Chaotic beer. I wouldn’t want to drink a full glass of it.

Nicely balanced to finish with mellow warmth, some lemony tang, more moderate bitter citrus rind. Very nice.
