COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our organic farmhouse ale is brewed in small batches on a traditional farm brewery as it has historically been made for hundreds of years. This unfiltered bottle of seizoen, with its beeswax seal, is naturally refermented and carbonated with select yeast strains producing fruity and spicy flavors that are balanced by hops and a soft malt character. Special Brettanomyces yeast provides added dryness and crisp complexity. For the most satisfying results, store upright in a cold, dark place and enjoy in a proper glass.

gold/orange pour, a bit murky, huge head that dissipates quickly, Barnyard funk, leather, citrus aroma. Taste of citrus, dough, bret, funk, light pepper, very light leather. Medium body. Alcohol creeps up on you like a fox stalking the henhouse [/barnyard joke]

Pours a bright medium orange with a one finger white head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of sour fruit, wet hay, vinegar, sourdough bread, belgian yeast, and some grass. Taste is wet hay, vinegar, sour fruits, pepper, sourdough bread, and some light grassy hops. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a sour, dry, medium-long finish. Overall, a excellent Saison that is definitely Bretty.

On tap at Beercraft. Hazy gold with a fluffy off-white head. Aroma is an explosion of strawberry-banana smoothie, heavier on the banana oil candy note. Flavor gives an upfront ester sweetness with fruit salad notes that immediately transform into plasticky brett phenols before circling back to an unripe kiwi thing. Weird. Very bretty but Iím not sure I could identify this as a saison if I was ordering blind. Just a strange beer.

Bottle at home as I continue my weekend of Oregon brew. Pours hazy orange gold with big white head. Nose is Brett and apple juice. Tastes of tropical fruits, ripened pears, cheap apple juice, Brett, hay, peppery, and ginger. Semi sweet finish. Kind of odd after taste. Had much higher hopes for this one.

Glad to be one of SHERM1016ís friends on this tasting! Sample from a shared pour. Nose of fruit and spice....initial taste is a very sour / dry / almost puckering dryness...but so good.....sample was too small to get much past that...excellent.

Bottle split with a couple friends. After the bottle stops gushing it pours hazy gold with fluffy white head. Aroma of lemon, brett, hay, fruit. Medium body. Nice and fruity. Crisp and dry. Assertive carbonation

Cask at Firkin Firkin. Iíve been waiting to try this one for a while. Slight cloudy gold pour. Aroma of butter/acid. Big bretta flavor & citric acid. Some farmhouse hay and sulfur. Not much else going on. Sharp acidic palate yet too thick of a palate at the same time/not dry enough. Hot mess.
