Our organic farmhouse ale is brewed in small batches on a traditional farm brewery as it has historically been made for hundreds of years. This unfiltered bottle of seizoen, with its beeswax seal, is naturally refermented and carbonated with select yeast strains producing fruity and spicy flavors that are balanced by hops and a soft malt character. Special Brettanomyces yeast provides added dryness and crisp complexity. For the most satisfying results, store upright in a cold, dark place and enjoy in a proper glass.

Bottled sample via and shared with oakbluff. Pale gold in colour with strong carbonation. Very brett heavy on the nose with notes of Rocket candies, sweet grass, lavender, and other herbs. In the mouth, it seems like a cross between Orval and Jolly Pumpkin, with flavours of extra dry pilsner malt, grass, cherry blossom, and navel orange. Bone dry. Excellent.

What an affordable concoction. Sits a hazed orange color. Sports dense, lacey white head. Enjoyable nose. Bretty with soft essences of bandage, grapes, and sweet flowers. Flavors carry forth the aromas, tart grape and meyer lemon and a hint of floral stuffs going on. $12 for a 750ml bottle means this becomes my go-to summer drink and its time to stock my new fridge.

Nice earthy lightly funky brett on the nose, hay, peach, apricot sweetness, a touch of cpice and light belgian yeast notes. Pours hazy orange golden, nice fizzy head. Flavors of nice hay, dust, a little musty, a touch of spice, black pepper, peach, apricot, and a bit of orange. A little funky brett notes, nice and dry in the finish. Well carbonated, drinkable, quenching. Well done.

Drank this too cold at first and was confused. After a warming time it was amazing. Brett was strong and interesting and the background saison which I loved as well was prevalent and spicy. Appearance is perfect farmhouse ale. Wheaty and wonderful!

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2012 bottle at Hamilton’s. incredible dense and layered nose of creamy citrus pith and brett must (sweet sweat / BO, wax, yogurt, band aid). soft and creamy mouthfeel with silky natural carbonation and mild acid. tart fruit pith flavor, juicy and creamy and layered. lemon grass, lemon leaves, bell pepper, band aid is strong. the nose is fairly complex and multi-dimensional but it seems to be a result of the brett more than the saccharomyces. waxy / fatty texture with crystalline sugar sweetness and moderately brash acidity seem to leave it a bit too tart and musty and brash rather than letting the creamy and soft malt drive the experience.

Pours hazy yellow/gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is heavily Brett’ed with lots of floral and spicy notes. Taste is the same, nice texture, good spiciness and floral hop, lightly tart, some light bitterness on the finish as well.

The pour is an orange color with a tall white head. Nice bretty nose on this with good funky, earthy aromas and a fair amount of fruit. Citrus is certainly prominent, as is a touch of tropical fruit. A mild, but pleasant spice note and some sweet bread. The flavor is fairly dry but a touch of sweetness/malt remains. More citrus fruit character on the nose along with a touch of grass, earth, and pepper. Really interesting and enjoyable.

Out of the bottle in a tulip glass. Musty with orange on the aroma. Hazy honey orange with a nice white head. Sour with sweet grain flavor and very dry finish. Minimal spice.
