COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our organic farmhouse ale is brewed in small batches on a traditional farm brewery as it has historically been made for hundreds of years. This unfiltered bottle of seizoen, with its beeswax seal, is naturally refermented and carbonated with select yeast strains producing fruity and spicy flavors that are balanced by hops and a soft malt character. Special Brettanomyces yeast provides added dryness and crisp complexity. For the most satisfying results, store upright in a cold, dark place and enjoy in a proper glass.

Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a big frothy head that sticks and laces for the length of the beer. On the nose there is a bright zestiness of lime, citrus, barnyard funk and some earthy saison yeast spice added to the inviting mix. On the palate its full of the same brightness with a beautiful balance and elegance that makes this beer one of the best saisons Ive had the pleasure to drink. Great hints of earthy spice on the dry crisp finish !

12/1/12. 750mL bottle thanks to nulledge! Hazy light amber pour with a huge khaki head and a ton of lacing. The aroma shows a bit of tropical fruit and citrus fruits with a bit of funk. Similar fruity and lightly funky flavor with a lingering dryness. Not bad!

Drank at thirdeye11ís birthday party. The beer pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma has a ton of brett with some biscuit malt. The flavor is very similar. I get a lot of brett, as well as some lemon and orange. Nice.

Bottle from bhensonb. Huge thanks. Gushed upon opening. In the fridge for days. Hazy gold pour with a bit frothy yet thick white head. Aroma was fruity yeast, orange, clove, funk, dusty basement. Dry finish. Quite good.

[4672-20120817] Bottle. Light fishy smell. Hazy, light orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Mild grainy yeast flavour. Medium body. Interesting, might be a little old. (6/3/7/3/13) 3.2

750ml from Made in Oregon. Bright golden-orange pour, with moderate sediment and puffy, prickly carbonation. Young apple and pear in the middle of a spicy, bretty nose. Playful mouthfeel, dry finish. Some wood, spice, and pinot gris in the taste to bring out some more complexity, not just fruity brett (although thatís the heart of the beer). Pretty good.

Bottle sampled December 2012 purchased June 2012-pours hazy murky orange hue with a 1" fizzy cream white head with spase lacing. looks really good! however, this was a gusher when i cracked the cap-about 3-4 oz of beer went on the table. nose is really nice-cobwebs, barnyard, sweet citrus (lemons, lime), lite funk, smells like the best saison you have ever had! Flavors exhibit the funk, barnyard, ripe citurs, but that Brett takes hold and really dominates. its quite a bit more funky than the regular saison, which was really good as well. however, this one really takes the cake! fizzy body yet it distributes the flavors very well. very dry funky/brett finish that lingers for quite a while. This is truely fantastic! lots of character and better than Boulevard Saison Brett and Anchorage Saison by a hair! Fantastic beer from this unique and somewhat unknown brewery!

750 ml bottle poured a hazy gold with a lasting off white head. Aromas of straw, barnyard, citrus, horseblanket and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of straw, citrus, horseblanket and light earthiness with a smooth dry funky finish.

Bottle sent by black13 on BeerAdvocate. Thanks again for this Michael, I absolutely love this beer and am stoked to have another bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange in color with two fingers worth of big, frothy head. The brett seems to already be taking a firm grasp of this. The nose is spectacular, it has gentle tartness, pepper, grass, pear, orange, and some other fruit. Flavor follows the nose, bright fruit, tart, some earthiness, and pepper. Light mouthfeel, gentle tartness, slightly dry, and a moderate finish. One of the best saisons in the world. Itís balanced, has excellent depth in its nose and flavor without being overbearing, just a great drinker all around. This is such a crushable summer beer (even if Iím drinking it in December).
