Our organic farmhouse ale is brewed in small batches on a traditional farm brewery as it has historically been made for hundreds of years. This unfiltered bottle of seizoen, with its beeswax seal, is naturally refermented and carbonated with select yeast strains producing fruity and spicy flavors that are balanced by hops and a soft malt character. Special Brettanomyces yeast provides added dryness and crisp complexity. For the most satisfying results, store upright in a cold, dark place and enjoy in a proper glass.

Shared bottle with Timfoolery at DBS. Aroma of lemon and you could smell the brett. Usually not a huge fan of this style, but this one was a huge surprise. Just the right amount of tart sweetness made it my favorite of the day.

On tap at RCBF 2016. Very hazy, pale yellow colour. Thin layer of white froth on top. Sourness, earthy notes, tangerines, oranges, flowery notes in the aroma. Hay, barnyard, hints of oranges at first. Bit yeasty, flowery in the middle. Slightly yeasty finish. Not a good brew. Or something wrong happened with the keg or while serving the beer. Taste itself is quite good.

Viel wilde belgische Hefe dominiert so einiges bei diesem Heavyexemplar des Saisonstils.

Bottle: Served in a Teku glass: Gusher, mein got... White head. Murky yellow juice. Nose of citrus, lemon, cactus, little crispy funk, flowers, floral, little chloric, light soapy... Flavour is bitter, citrussy, light alcohol burn, little funk, some wheat, malts, light dry, yeast, little cheese, flowers and floral tints... Aftertaste is bitter, light fruity, light floral, little funk... Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, good tad more than medium bodied. Decent.

Tap @RCBF 2016. Clear amber color. Small size, bubbly white head, stays. Apples, sweet, yeasty in aroma. Cider-like aroma. Apples, yeasty and dirty in taste. Dry mouthfeel. Flat palate. Feels boozy in aftertaste. Naah.

Wonderful aroma - yeasty, fruity citrus, a little floral, ripe summer fruit. Taste mostly follows aroma but some earthy funkiness and bitterness. Maybe a bit too funky bretty for me. This bottle was weird though.... Not quite a gusher but was foaming out of the bottle. Yet, it didn’t seem as carbonated as I would have liked it too be.

Quite fancy! Funky barnyard, perfect ripe fruitiness plays with brett characteristics, citrusy, perfumy, floral. Light sweetness, ligth tartness. Awesome balance, highly enjoyable

Tåkete gul med høyt hvitt skum. Syrlig lukt, apelsin og korn. Frisk syrlig, sitrusig smak. Middels bitter, lett sødme. Middels lang. (Schauskjelleren ølfestival)

Pours cloudy golden, small head. Sour, off-bretta smell. Fruity, somehow great ballanced hoppiness with sourness. Very well ballanced and tasty brew.

On tap @Ma che siete venuti a fà (Rome). Pours deep golden, a bit unclear, with a minimal head. Aroma of bretta, yellow fruits, citrus, alcohol. Flavour is medium sweet with a decent sourness, alcohol. Medium body, light carbonation. Alcohol is too much intrusive. Rough.
