COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our organic farmhouse ale is brewed in small batches on a traditional farm brewery as it has historically been made for hundreds of years. This unfiltered bottle of seizoen, with its beeswax seal, is naturally refermented and carbonated with select yeast strains producing fruity and spicy flavors that are balanced by hops and a soft malt character. Special Brettanomyces yeast provides added dryness and crisp complexity. For the most satisfying results, store upright in a cold, dark place and enjoy in a proper glass.

This beer is lovely, thanks to Oakes for the find :) it has a lot of Turkish dried apricot character in all respects. The color, the juicy middle, the fructose finish, the balancing acidity. The lively hop and brett add extra dimensions, allowing both to sneak into tasty and proper pockets of happiness. The brett is apparent most in the aroma, and as the palate attenuates, in the finish. The natural lemon candy and chewing stick of licorice sweetness is one of the many things that make this beer outstandingly characterful and multi-dimensional. The hop is another. Gorgeous. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

375ml bottle from Plumpjack. Cloudy orange with a huge billowing white head with bubbles characteristic of brett. Bretty aroma, spicy with tart peach notes. Funky. Nice flavor, with brett dominating. Dry and a tad tart. A bit of a weird finish I can’t put my finger on. The strength of this beer comes through in the long finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Very solid overall.

Bottle: Poured a dirty cloudy dark beige color ale with a huge dirty head with good retention and some excellent lacing. Aroma of rustic malt with light funky yeasty notes is quite sublime. Taste is dominated by dry rustic notes with some funky yeast notes and a dry floral finish. Dry Brett notes are clearly identifiable but are not overwhelming and keep the malt base flavours intact. Body is full with super great carbonation (a bit of a gusher as well BTW) and no apparent alcohol. I could drink this beer this every day of the year!!!

Pours golden color with a small head. Mellow fruity aroma, some spice and yeast notes too. Apricot, peach and hay on the flavor, yeast and herbal notes. Easy-going, softly carbonated and moderately sour. Decent.

375ml bottle from Belmont Station

Pours dark orange with a foamy head. Aroma of bretta, ripe fruits, yeast, spices and malts. Taste is earthy, spicy and yeasty with some bretta notes, ripe fruits and sweet honey notes. Finish is sweet, dry and slightly tartish with some ripe fruits and spices. Okay, slightly better than the regular Seizoen.
