COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our organic farmhouse ale is brewed in small batches on a traditional farm brewery as it has historically been made for hundreds of years. This unfiltered bottle of seizoen, with its beeswax seal, is naturally refermented and carbonated with select yeast strains producing fruity and spicy flavors that are balanced by hops and a soft malt character. Special Brettanomyces yeast provides added dryness and crisp complexity. For the most satisfying results, store upright in a cold, dark place and enjoy in a proper glass.

Bottle at DBS. Aroma is sorta lemony with wheat and Brett. Barely noticeable sweetness to pair with the lemon notes, honey components (yet not really sweet), dry Brett, an indistinguishable tartness, and a good amount of carbonation. Really good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

High fresh fruit - grapes, melon, light carambola, light banana - sweet fruity aroma, Taste: ok bitterness, cirsty feeling, lovely fresh bretty, spicy saison notes, light but ok hoppy, some funky notes. Nice - gould do with a bit more brett.... I love brett.

Generously shared by one of the fine Portland RB folks at a tasting - Pours hazy yellow / orange with a huge off-white head. The aroma has funky husky brett, mild fruit, some toast, herbs and graininess. Medium grainy body with nice semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts off with rustic leafy grassiness, herbs, dry crackers and toast. The finish is quite funky and buggy and has that nice leafy quality running all the way through. Excellent saison.

This is a beautiful beer in all respects. It’s great in a bottle and great on tap if you can find it. I can find this at my local grocer at $11 / 750 ml and it’s very hard to beat in terms of price / availability. Fruity flavors come out big time, hard to know if they are hops or yeast (Gonna guess the latter from Mr. Wyeast here) but fantastic either way. Really hard to find fault with this one. This was one of the first brett farmhouse beers I got excited about way back and the more I drink in the style the better this one seems in comparison.

Bottle. Very cloudy golden orange pour with a small foamy head that fades to a thick ring with big bubbles. Aroma is a powerful mix of grapefruit and brett barnyard. Also get some leather, lemon, light banana and spices. Tastes surprisingly sweet and juicy at first and then quickly turns dry and tart. Grapefruit juice, brett, leather, coriander, pepper, apples, and banana. Medium body. Sorta fizzy carb. Fun beer to drink. I liked this more than I thought I would.

Bottle. The smell is fruity, yeasty, fresh, straw, berry, alcohol, solvent, and noble hops. The taste is yeast, Brett, dry, fruit, hay, and nice. Interesting and rustic.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a cloudy opaque orangey golden with a lacing, off-white head. Very fresh and fruity nose, oranges - with some phenols lurking in the background. Medium body, very soft on the palate, again this orangey fruitiness, but now the yeast really comes through and so does the phenols while the Brett doesn’t really steal the show. Alright but far from outstanding. 110614

gold/orange pour, a bit murky, huge head that dissipates quickly, Barnyard funk, leather, citrus aroma. Taste of citrus, dough, bret, funk, light pepper, very light leather. Medium body. Alcohol creeps up on you like a fox stalking the henhouse [/barnyard joke]
