COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our organic farmhouse ale is brewed in small batches on a traditional farm brewery as it has historically been made for hundreds of years. This unfiltered bottle of seizoen, with its beeswax seal, is naturally refermented and carbonated with select yeast strains, producing complex fruity and spicy flavors balanced with hops and a soft malt character.

Pours a straw color gold. Sunshine and shining as if you had put the sun in the glass. Fat head of sticky white foam that leaves lace. Nose is lovely. Lemon grass, lemon peel, stone fruit like mango, a bit of yeasty funk but not too much and a woody airy lightness. There is honey on this nose and it smells like when the honey turns solid int he jar. Sugary but still full. Floral like flower petals. sweet and not bitter. Taste is lovely. It has the underpinnings of sour on an explosion of fruit. Stone fruit, apple, pear, lemon. Tart but mysteriously so. Lightly woody yeast like sweet fresh air. If you had stepped outside your door to a meadow that took up your entire field of vision ti would smell like this beer. Drinks with champagne dryness, a perfect light and ticklish carbonation, a soft malt with bread, cracker and honey. A fruitiness that is endless and a bit of sweet grass to finish this one dry and with room for plenty of hearty food. The floral on this one is brilliant and so is the tartness that brings you to the edge of your palate and then backs off so that you stay satisfied and not regretful. This beer will grace your table with a not so subtle perfection. Why should it be modest? Grilled meats? Fried chicken? Meat and cheese platter? crusty bread and greens? The honey in this one is inescapable. It teeters decadently between soft bread and crisp cracker but it has honey and it stimulates the senses. Finishes dry and with a residual taste of honey and that light soft malt. Just damn pretty is what it is. It is more than the sum of it’s parts. It evolves in the glass to be a welcome bit of joy in a world that goes on way too long like this review.

750 ml bottle to goblet (shared by Dogbones). Looks good; a mostly transparent golden orange with fomy white head. Smells good too; a nice balance of yeast and spice. Tastes like it smells with a pleasant mouthfeel. A good saison.

Bottle shared by czar, thanks bro! Pours a light hazy yellow with a medium white head that leaves pretty lacing. Nose is of classic saison with some nice fruity and peppery notes and some light sulfur. Taste is of fresh cereals, not quite tart but there is definitely some acidity, moderately bitter and fruity. Body is light, carbonation high and finish is "floury". Logsdon definitely pushes out good stuff!

pours hazy / cloudy pale yellow with a creamy off-white head showing a good retention and strong lacing. very spicy and fruity maltiness / yeastiness, sweetish wheat with a hint of tartness, minty grassiness, hint of cheese and phenolic esters, spices - pepper but also cinnamon. lively to average carbonation, light body, drying grassy-spicy finish. classic - no need to envy authentic belgian saisons here. quenching. craftly brewed.

Pours hazy orange with a large thick white head. Aroma of earthy notes, spices, tart fruits, citrus and yeastiness. Taste is smooth, earthy and tartish with some yeastiness and malty notes. Bottle back from Sam Diego shared on Easter. Seemed like an appropriate beer for the occasion. Gusher that I had to hold over the sink for a sec. The beer afterwords was plenty tasty. Lots of earth lightly tart. Light citrus flavors lemon. Finish is tast again. Bordering on a light sour.

Pours bright gold into a tulip. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving spider lacing to coat surface. Funky earth and citrus aromas. Soft with dusty caramel and funk upfront turning to yeast in the medium length finish.

Pours a hazy, orange amber color with a white head and some lacing. Aroma is fruity, banana, clove, bubblegum. Medium to heavy on the palate with soft, creamy carbonation. Flavor is sweet, bready, ginger, clove, more bubblegum, with a nice spicy finish that lingers for a while. Not as good as the Seizeon Bretta, but very nice on its own.
