COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our organic farmhouse ale is brewed in small batches on a traditional farm brewery as it has historically been made for hundreds of years. This unfiltered bottle of seizoen, with its beeswax seal, is naturally refermented and carbonated with select yeast strains, producing complex fruity and spicy flavors balanced with hops and a soft malt character.

Pours a rich golden straw color with a lively fizzy foam... The nose has great earthy rustic barnyard notes mixed with citrus, pepper and yeasty spice. The palate is everything I want in a saison... straw earthy yeast backbone with touches of honey, citrus, barnyard tang, and some lingering spice that is balanced beautifully of the floral sweetness in the finish !

Bottle, 0.75l, shared with friends. Hazy golden orange color with large frothy white head, great lacing and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of wheat, citrus, hay, yeast, alcohol and notes of honey. Taste starts with light sweet and sour grainy malt, following is mild vinous with ripe fruits and some funkiness, mouthfeel is warming spicy with moderate bitter finish. Medium to full body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Very refreshing and rich saison with well hidden alcohol...

Not a fan. All up front and completely drops off. So thin. No mid to back palate. Asdf.

Bottle, Whole Foods Honolulu. Hazy blonde. Aroma is fairly footy yeast character. Palate is similar, but with a light fruitiness and gentle pale malt character. Overall, I prefer the brett version, because it brings extra dimensions of complexity. The yeastiness here is a bit stale/old, wonder if the beer sat on it too long.

From old notes, tasted with Curtis and some friends in Nashville, probably some time near the summer of 2012, from a waxed 750mL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a thick white head that leaves average lace. The nose is classic spicy saison yeast with some green hops and light bread malt. The flavor is a touch malty up front, moving to full kumquat and orange peel, spicy yeast, and then some light hops bitterness. The body is medium with lively carbonation and a long spicy and orange peel finish.
