Pours cloudy orange with nice white foamy head that left a good dose of lacing in my tulip. Thought I had this before, but after looking back at my ratings it was the bretta. Nevertheless I like this one as well. Probably not quite as much as the bretta which is funny as I’m not a huge fan of sours. Cheese and musty aromas in the nose. Nice mouthfeel with a good dose of yeast and estery flavors along with some fruit and spice. Another fine brew from this producer.

Cool bottle shared by someone at Beermongers, maybe DA. Thanks. Pours a cloudy orange color with a large white head. A sweet phenolic nose of banana and yeast. The flavor is very good; citrus, ripe fruit, dry earthy banana, lively, very full bodied. Good.

In short: A true farmhouse rustic blonde ale. Excellent
How: Bottle 750ml, beige wax topped, consumed when approximately 6 months of age. Bottle sent to me by mcberko, thanks a lot Matt
The look: Cloudy blonde body topped by a large off-white head with good retention
In long: Nose is unmistakably uber-rustic Saison yeast with also countryside wild flowers, old dusty attic and such... This is truly “farmhouse”. Taste is fluffy rustic yeast, strong cobweb sensation (yes I know I have never actually eaten cobweb), pineapples, some candy-like sweetness that tastes like a mix of jelly beans and bubblegum, dry grass and a pleasant spiciness. This is a truly old-fashion farmhouse ale which is exactly what the brewer was aiming for. My wife was away visiting her family and this is one of the many many bombers I drank home lying on my couch, unshaved, in my dirty underwear while watching pro-wrestling on tv and scratching my balls, I’m not proud of the stuff I do when I’m alone home but fortunately for me the walls can’t talk and even more fortunately for me the walls in my bathroom can’t laugh.

750 ml bottle; cloudy vibrant orange, thick eggy white head; grassy aromas with sweet orange, stale lemon, white sugar, dry wheat; very dry finish with fruity edge; stale lemon, bland wheat and a little dry yeast; not too much flavor as the the carb level is quite high and gives off a spritzy mouthfeel; not that complex to me and a little bit of a let down; dry, stale grass in the finish

(750ml bottle dated 8/2014 thanks to ericandersnavy) cloudy yellow with thick lasting white head. Nose of white pepper, spicy, lightly fruity, apricot, Belgian, delicious nose that’s quite complex. Taste of spicy yeast, apricot, pepper, peach, complex and dry finish.

I like this beer. It’s darned fruity from some kick ass yeast. A soft, velvety body, like an egg yolk. Super estery and just imagine any fruit you choose and you’ll catch a glimpse of it here.
