Our organic farmhouse ale is brewed in small batches on a traditional farm brewery as it has historically been made for hundreds of years. This unfiltered bottle of seizoen, with its beeswax seal, is naturally refermented and carbonated with select yeast strains, producing complex fruity and spicy flavors balanced with hops and a soft malt character.

750ml Bottle. The pour was a hazy orange with a huge (3-4 finger) off white fluffy head that actually kept increasing for a short while, lasting throughout and producing some excellent foamy lacing. The aroma was of a grain malt and a bold funky Belgian yeast with notes of clove, citrus (orange peel), a light fruity ester (pineapple and peach) and a mild peppery spice. The taste was lightly sweet and rather yeasty with a pronounced fruity presence pretty much throughout, with a decent citrus peel bite creeping in along with a peppery spicy ending. The flavor lasted quite a long time proceeding the swallow with a strong citrus peel bitterness lingering on for a while longer. Mouthfeel was a step or two above light in body with a dry texture and a nice lively carbonation. Overall this was a very tasty Saison, which possessed a good balance between the fruitiness and bitterness making it a very enjoyable drinking experience. Just be careful, the bottle keeps gushing suds until about half empty... www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReviews

750 mL bottle poured into a taster. Slightly hazy with an ample head. Doughy malts, phenolic, heavy apple aroma. A bit chemically. Tastes pretty sweet. Unpleasant yeastiness. Bitter finish with lingering apple flavor. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Not the best Logsdon expression.

375ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey golden colour with huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Mild fruity and yeasty spicy aroma, hints of peach, apricot, nectarine, a touch of brine, white pepper, sage, a grassy touch of hay. Taste is malt-bound fruity and spicy yeasty, sweet-ish malty basis is tart-ish fruity counterbalanced, notes of peach, apricot, hints of white wine and grapes, slightly peppery spiciness, a touch of sage. Mild and gentle, superbly balanced, an epitome of subtlety.

Bottle shared by Lizard people. Pours a golden color with a slight hazer and modest head and lace. The aroma is fruity with peaches and lemons, somewhat floral, cereal, straw and biscuit. The taste is similar with a floral, fruity, and peppery note and finishes with slight funk and tartness. Sprite carbonation and light body overall. Easy to drink.
