COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The triple, or ’tripel’ style ale is probably the one style most commonly brewed by breweries is all of Flanders. Pure pilsner malt with a touch of oats provides a slightly sweet malty profile balanced by a judicious amount of whole cone noble Hallertau hops. Our triple is characterized by complex yet mildly spicy character from the compliment of traditional spices.

draft. Golden with a thick head. Lemony aroma with some spices. Mouthfeel is yesty, some citrus, grass and hey. Decent for the style

A: Yeast, mango, lemon, black pepper, hint of sea weed T: Bitter sweet. Mild zest, sweet dades, perfume O: Not my favourite style, but it's quite complex flavours both on nose and palate.

Flaske. Flot udseende og lækker mundfylde. Men ellers en helt standard trippel uden den store dybde. Let krydret og det er egentlig det. Måske skal jeg til at rettænkende mit forhold til amerikanske bryggerier der brygger belgiske stile.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Oatmeal and summer fruit aromas. Sweet, creamy marshmallow and sourdough upfront turning to peach and apricot before the lasting warming peppery yeast finish.

750ml capped bottle pours a slightly hazy golden color with a generous white head that retains quite well and leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is light fruits with some floral and spicy notes and mild yeasty notes. Taste is a light fruity and malty sweetness with a grassy and spicy hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with abundant carbonation that tickles the palate. Overall, an easy drinking tripel style ale.

Murky orange-blond color with small head. Some aroma of Brett and wood, light herbs. Muddy mouthfeel, with light residual sweetness, some funkiness, very light fruity touch, but also an incredible amount of yeast that pollutes the mouth and leads into a very unpleasant bitter final.
Unpleasant.

375 ml bottle. Bottle No. #1727. Best by 10/2016.
Pours golden color with a medium sized white head. Very pleasant floral and herbal aroma, yeast notes, slightly earthy, not that funky, quite fruity too. Peppery spices kick in immediately on the flavor, rounded up by yeast, some sweet orange there also, nice alcohol warmth at the end. Mild sourness on the palate, carbonation is on the strong side, bitter spicy aftertaste. Very nicely balanced with its fruitiness and spices. Haven’t had a decent Tripel in a while, this is definitely up there. Pleasant.

Bottle. Light hazy yellow with a medium sized bubbly white head. The nose is fruity with citrus and ripe apples, smells like some leathery brett also. Flavour is pretty nice with lots of fruit; passion fruit, apricot, raspberries, honey, citrus with some light barnyard and dry hay/grass. Medium body, low sweetness, medium bitter, light/medium acidic. Light alcoholic with prickling carbonation. Dry finish with light alcohol and lingering fruity notes.

Lasting frothy with head atop a cloudy milky straw body. Tart nose with hints of coriander with lemon. Sour, astringent and chalky. Lemongrass and coriander through the finish. Good but not my favourite Logsdon.
