COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The triple, or ’tripel’ style ale is probably the one style most commonly brewed by breweries is all of Flanders. Pure pilsner malt with a touch of oats provides a slightly sweet malty profile balanced by a judicious amount of whole cone noble Hallertau hops. Our triple is characterized by complex yet mildly spicy character from the compliment of traditional spices.

Rastacouere (6154) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 13, 2015
Veiled gold crowned by a robust white sheet. Balanced, strong Saison-like Tripel with a sense of complexity stemming by the many small notes it unleashes with none being a dominant force. In simple terms, it is essentially fruity and spicy, but this comes in melony, pinneaple, white pear and gently peachy, fairly juicy fruit array with less banana than most whilst pleasant herbal, flowery, spicy hops complement in quantities that are a not agressive by any standards, but a notch above the Belgian average. Alcohol is a constant presence, guarding over your shoulder more than being a bother of any level. A feeling of great execution all throughout although nothing really strikes as spectacular, just a great all-rounder. Spot on large-bubbled texture and fairly round. Limited acidity. Generously fruity, but dry all the same. Well done, if not striking the sensitive chord like their Saisons.

This beer pours a cloudy pale yellow color with a thick fluffy white head that diminishes gradually. Patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of herbal yeast, tropical fruit, wheat and malt. Medium body with flavors of floral yeast, citrus, pineapple and malt. The finish is fruity yeast with a touch of herbal hops in the aftertaste. Solid beer all around.

Bottle from Beermongers in Portland. Colour...golden straw with a massively thick white head. Nose...man! That’s a fruity, yeasty, estery, Belgiany beer! Palate...very dry and ultra fruity to start, with a sharp hoppy chomp! The mid palate is sweet and still very fruity with peaches, ’cots and pears at the forefront. The finish is very long and dry with sweetly spicy notes.

750 ml bottle- Pours slightly hazy golden with a nice geyser of bubbles and a decent bone white head. Aroma is white wine grapes, the Hallertau hops really shine, banana esters are prominent, coriander and other spices. The taste is dry white wine, banana, citrusy, coriander, pretty hoppy for a tripel. Body is medium and carbonation is high but not foamy. Nice beer, i was hoping for a farmhouse funky twist being from Logsdon, but still real quality here. All weekend long i have been drinking beer that only gets worse in the glass as it sits, this beer is a breath of fresh air, i have only gained in enjoyment as i sip on this excellent tripel, I am upping my overall by two points, original score 4.0.

Bottle from Brewfest. Hazy golden orange with lasting flat white head and lace. Spicy tropical fruit banana and minty aroma. Tropical fruit sweetness with hints of vanilla and oat tang with spicy coriander (?) and grassy bitterness and fairly dry finish. Soft carbo and medium light body are just right. One of the best American tripels. Excellent.

At my place on a Wednesday night with Taylor, Tiffany, and Patrick. Pours orange with foamy white lacing and head. Aroma is farmhouse, blanket, fresh hay. Taste is super nice dry farmhouse with a hint of hay triple. I am niver a tripple fan, I think they are always overpoweringly harsh and yeasty, but not this beer. The beer has somehow kept some subtle notes (only the good ones) of a triple and blended them with a nice soft farmhouse ale that is delicious. This beer was made by a master and I see some genius in it; and this is my first beer of the night.
