Bottle split on the hotel patio, SD, 14/11/14 from Belmont Station PDX. Hazed golden orange with a decent eggshell white covering. Nose is bitter citric peel, caramel, mandarin, apricot jam, yeast esters, spice, light booze tunes. Taste comprises jammy citric, bretty tunes, apricot, straw, tangerine. Medium + body, fine carbonation, sticky fruit and light booze in the close. Very decent for style, the tropical fruit tones keep this from getting to sweet and sticky and keep the drinkability up.

Pour is a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, peach and a slight honey. Flavor is a big fruit ester with some banana and raw honey. Finish has honey and a ripe fruit. Decent but different take on a triple. Still this was way flavorful and one of those beers where every sip takes on a different flavor profile. The 3rd beer I’ve had from this brewer and all are well above par.

Sampled at GABF 2014 with Andrew, Mel and David. Pours an orange body with large white creamy head. Aroma is spice and malt. Mouthfeel is super spicy with notes of banana, clove, spicy pears and light alcohol burn.

tmoreau (2576) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - NOV 1, 2014
Shared 750 ml. bottle poured to snifters, displaying a cloudy, orange hue, a modest layer of soft white head foam, and spots & streaks of lacing. The nose was floral, banana candy/circus peanuts, orange, light spice, and a touch of tartness. Medium bodied, with lively carbonation, hop bitterness was citrusy, earthy, and lingered along with a dry tartness into the finish. Alcohol had some boozy presence that slowly created more of a warming nature as the liquid rested. A nicely crisp Tripel.

GABF 2014. Pours a hazy yellow orange appearance with an off white head. Gooey mouth feel. Lots of esters. Apple, banana, and pear. Slightly spicy. A bit on the sweet side. Ehh.
