(swing top bottle) Cloudy, amber colour with a huge and persistent off-white foamy head. Sweet and sourish, almost tart fruity (citrus, green banana) aroma, slightly yeasty with a moderate wheat-character, slightly toasted on a clovy background. Sour-sweet flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonation. Toasty, moderately wheaty taste with citrus-fruity accents; light-sweet, sourish, slightly tart finish with light but rounded notes of caramel in the aftertaste. Works for me.

Farblich schön dunkel braun trüb, die Schaumkrone schäumt stark auf, schaut auch stabil aus, hält dann aber doch nur mittelmäßig. Es riecht hefig, dunkelmalzig, röstig. Es ist leicht Cremig auf der Zunge, geschmacklich ist es hefig, dunkelmalzig süßlich. Fazit: Ordentlich!

Flip-top half-litre bottle, best before 26 Dec 2010. The fourth bottle of my German tasting evening, 2 July 2010.
Poured into one of my ’Frankiskaner’ Weissbier glasses.
The beer is mid-brown in colour, swurling, murky looking brew, a good deep cream coloured head sat on top.
The smells were of malts, roasted and toasted. A slight smoked ham hint arrived as the beer began to warm in the glass.
The beer was well carbonated, almost too fizzy at first, but it calmed down and was most enjoyable. The flavours within the taste followed the aromas, very pleasant.

Malty, sweet dunkel weissbier, a great example of what this style of beer CAN be. Sweet, strong aroma, thick head. Taste is balanced throughout...full body, slightly oily feel, sweet aftertaste. Love this one.

Bottle.Pours brown with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of wheat, toffee, some bubblegum and floral hops. Flavor is sweet and fruity with some toffee, citrus and malt. Medium body, average carbonation

Pours cloudy deep brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, banana and caramel. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. It pours an unclear, dark copper body under a dense, light beige head. The aroma has caramel, hops, banana and a spiced touch. The flavor is quite swwet, yet it feels dry. Full body. pleasant carbonation. Caramel, banana and a touch of spices. Nice bitterness. A pleasant and tasteful dunkelweizen. 111231

Roasted flavours of caramel and fruits. Dark brown in colour with a white head.

Bottled: Hazy red brown beer with a frothy, but diminishing off-white/orange-colored head. Subdued sweetish aroma - notes of caramel, hay, nuts and a whiff of grassy hops. Taste us better, yet still not very wheaty: Medium sweet, nutty-malty with a touch of licorice. Some cardbard, some spices. A light bitterness at the back of the tongue. . Dry finish. Medium body, creamy texture. Not bad, just strange at mediocre at the same time.
