SHIG (1484), Oberoffligen, Germany Jul 8, 2008 Bottle: Poured a golden color with lots of bubbles, the head was an off white. Aroma is musty. The taste is dry and very bitter.
fata2683 (86), APO, New York, USA Aug 21, 2008 This stuff is really good and refreshing. I get cravings for the aftertaste of dry bitterness. This is a pale/amber color head quickly dissapears. I normally can’t stop with one. I agree it’s not up there with the Lohrer Weissens but it is worth finding and trying. subcell (95), Portsmouth, Virginia, USA Jun 29, 2008 This beer was something I tried years ago. I do remembering the beer as I kept the bottle. Honestly one of the best fest beers I have had. Very tasty. REDBOSOX (28), Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts, USA Jun 11, 2008 A good beer, although not up there with hefeweisens. Dry and malty, although not too much. People I work with brag a little TOO much about this stuff. It’s good, but not THAT good. yespr (6259), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jun 8, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow to orange with a lacing white head. Mild sweet corn aroma. Flavour is mild cardboardish with a mild caramel note and a decent bitterness. Medium dry finish.
