Rifermentata in bottiglia Alc. 5,5% in Vol.

Rinfrescante e dissetante, oltre che appagante nel gusto e nel corpo. Luppolatura che si fa sentire, anche se non in eccesso. Ben equilibrata.

Draft from Proletariat in NYC. I was going to rate this, and then I read 3fourths’ rating and thought, "Why bother?" I quote, abbreviated: "hazed golden wheat body with a fine white head and lasting retention. very much nailing the Belgian farmhouse yeast character in the nose: all around seems quite soft and delicate but very well integrated: lemon oil and pith, soap, banana, peach skin esters, moderate peppercorn spice with a creamed wheat and uncooked dough yeast note that seems to be the one component that’s a little too present. the aroma hops seem similar to those in the Thiriez Blonde and De Ranke XX (though I haven’t had a bottle of that this year, it’s sitting in the fridge): musty, a bit goaty, sharply green, and almost smelling like the skunk of ultraviolet light contamination, but not quite. deliciously dry with a medium body and soft and creamy natural carbonation; takes an acidic turn across the middle with crystalline sugar, must, white pepper and Belgian pale malt toast. lush carbonation releases the acids and esters well to wash the palate in the finish."

Pours a hazy straw yellow colour with a lovley. Aroma of honey, passionfruit and nuts. Plesant smell! Taste is a really good blend of sweetness, sourness and bitterness, awesome balance! Smooth mouthfeel with suiting medium carbonation. Overall, a quality brew.

11.2oz bottle at Maxs. Unfiltered orange-tan. Massive creamy white head. Fairly unique, not sure what style I’d call this. Sweetish golden malt backbone, vibrant Belgianesque body, dry wheaty hops, straw. A nice mix of sweet and bitter. An APA meets a low alcohol Belgian Golden Ale. Very enjoyable beer. Nice depth, balance, dry edges.

Quite nice too. Not much Belgian features in it but very amusing and refreshing. Some hope in there too were.

11/04/2013 La Tana (tap). Pesca giallona, appena torbida, schiuma leggera bianca e morbida.

11.2oz bottle, shared by Jay. Pours a completely hazy golden color. Good, foamy off-white head. Leaves a few dots of lace. Really nice zesty citrus peel nose. Floral aroma. Sweeter taste. Nice belgian-esque yeastiness. Medium body, good soft kinda tingly carbonation, convincingly belgian-tasting. Nice orange notes. Tasty belgian ale for sure. $9 a bottle here in the states is just silly, though.
