Birra ambrata ad alta fermentazione, gusto secco ma deciso con una doppia luppolazione, equilibrata al gusto per l’utilizzo di malto caramellato. La 9 riesce ad accompagnare tutte le portate più strutturate e speziate. Rifermentata in bottiglia Alc. 6,5% in Vol.

bel colore, forse un pò torbida, schiuma poco persistente. Note di luppolo, in bocca attacco dolciastri e poi esplosione di luppoli da aroma. Interessante finale secco ma non tagliente. molto gradevole 750 ml bottiglia

.33l bottle at Pivopija, Belgrade (or Zemun if you want to be specific). Richer, clear amber-brown, foamy tan head. Very sweet fruity aroma. Sweet italian malt leading to sweet and crisp hops and a very bitter finish. Some yeasty character. Nothing screams belgian to me but this is very tasty.

11.2oz bottle. No bottle date found on the bottle, but this is at least a couple years old, I’m pretty sure. Maybe I opened it a little aggressively, but the bottle foamed over when I opened it up. Pours a dark amber orange color. Lots of hazy swirls and dark particles in the body. Big foamy off-white head that just persists... Big grapefruit zesty hop in the aroma, sort of surprising and kind of a good smell... Taste is a little cloying sweet unfortunately up front, but I get used to it in subsequent sips.. Mild bitter. Soft carbonation and very dry texture. Gets smoother after it’s sat for a bit, though. Medium body. Lightly spicy aroma. Ok belgian ale overall, not bad. Nice toasty malt profile, some toffee, and good sort of grapefruity notes are appreciated. Better than expected overall, it got substantially better as I went. The price is a bit high though

I think I got to an unlucky bottle. Full of yeast, rough and dirty, gentle hops but mostly dominated by yeast.

Very nice, quite sweet and italian alike. Very drinkable and strong hoppy aroma there too.

17/04 A 0.75 l bottle, courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured hazy orange body with medium sized ivory head. Very nice elderflower and honey malt aroma with lot of citrus hops. Somewhat spicy as well. Peppery, fine hoppy flavor, bitter but well balanced with vanilla malts and chalky yeast, to be smooth on palate. Quite full in body for relatively modest ABV. Finish was long, pleasant sweetish and slightly bitter. Really a pleasant Belgian ale.

Bottled 750ml. -from La Rinascente, Milano. Murky amber coloured, medium to big sized pale beige head, fresh hoppy nose. Moderate malty, flowery hoppy and mild citrusy with notes of elder in the finish. Pleasant, aromatic and enjoyable brew, and one of the best Italian beersthat I’ve tried in past few years.

Ogi’s. "La 9" and has 6.5% alcohol. Umm... What? Poured a murky amber-brown body with a big, fluffy nice off white head that went away relatively slowly. Nice, really fresh notes of elderflower and maltiness, with very light soapy notes, aroma hops, some orange. Fresh taste again, apricot, orange rind, nicely and very much aromatic, peach juice, slightly lactic, quite lovely and enjoyable - these last 3 Italian beers were definitely a nice surprise, though I’m sure that Ogi paid quite a lot for them.

11/04/2013 La Tana (handpump). Ambrata, miele, limpida, schiuma biancastra sporca abbondante e persistente. Al naso sentori di malto e luppolo, note erbacee. In bocca è un po’ confusa, l’attacco è dolciastro, maltato, il finale è amaro ma non così secco come mi sarei aspettato. Corpo medio, carbonazione soft. Un po’ caotica e confusionaria.
