COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A different beer than St. Lombadus with a different colour and taste. It is brewed under commission from De Lombarde Camping in Lombardsijde, near Nieuwpoort.

Obviously aged sample, +/- 4 yrs Initially frothing head, gone in seconds, leaving unclear yellow beer, resembling cider. Yeasty & estery nose, fresh-smelling, peppery, lemony or lemongrass, even some Brett! (a lot of aged Regenboog beers sport this), ironoxide (though not in the head, obviously), organic acids, fruity. Good deal of fruity acidity in the taste, bit lactic, much less spicey than the nose. Lemony or wild prunes ( quetches ), sweet (or rather sourish?) woodruff. Retronasal even more flowery notes. Thinnish MF, because of the acidity, but has kept oxydation at bay. Strange, but rather pleasant flavours. I get Michaels’ lemon, but not his tea. Thanks to the brewer himself for supply! This bottle is better than remembered on draught at the 24h.

Milky blond with a small head. Weak aroma. Tea and lemon flavour. Well balanced but a rather short taste.
