Poured from bomber, dark brown with minimal tan head. Nose was a bit musty, smoky. Complex taste; chocolate, coffee. Medium thin bodied with a cola like feel. Interesting beer, would try again.

Bomber. Pours deep brown with hints of red and a light tan head. Aroma of smoke, chocolate, coffee. Tastes of coffee, caramel, smoke and roast, light earthen hops. Tasty representative of the style.

Thanks to Brandon for the bomber! Poured translucent, medium-dark brown with a tighter-bubbled beige head. The aroma picked up lots and lots of sugars.. mostly caramel and molasses with a lighter roast to it.. vanilla and light buttery notes too.. just a hint of sourness present.. entirely pleasant, but underwhelming for a Baltic porter. The flavor did the same thing.. sweet, buttery chocolate and caramel notes at the core with light coffee bitterness and roast surrounding.. lightly sour coffee notes and a splash of alcohol warmth on the mostly sweet finish.. not that complex, but candied and tasty. Medium-bodied and sweet as mentioned on the palate.. the splashes of sourness and roast worked well.. OK and very drinkable, but I was hoping for more.

Bomber; thanks Brandon!! Pours thin dense brown with trace tan head bubbling along the edges; sweet candy malt on the nose with some coffee and faint sweet roast; texture is thin and finish is bone dry; cola sweetness and a little chaulky mouthfeel

Bomber shared by Arbitrator at a tasting.
Pours darkest brown with a small tan head and good lacing.
Aroma is roast, dark chocolate, and coffee. Very nice and roasty.
Flavor is excellent. Seems like a coffee beer - huge coffee flavor. Dark chocolate, roast, and lots of earth as well.
Fairly thin on the palate with drying roastiness.
Drinkable and very tasty. Thanks, Arby.

Uber-sweet, and while I love this style I didn’t pick up anything particularly special about this after the surface-level sweetness. Little complexity I could take note of. But tasty enough in its general sweetness to merit its B+ grade.

Wonderful sweet roasty coffee nose with some chocolate as well. A great smelling beer. Black with no head or legs. Coffee and chocolate, roasted and some patent malts. A hint of dark fruit. Earthy roasty dry coffee finish. Clean with a hint of alcohol. Really good.

22oz bottle from me picked up at John’s; I’m so good to myself! Super dark brown, basically black with a uniform creamy beige head. Nose is pretty much pure coffee, with some hazelnut, chalk, licorice and light smoke malt. Body is a touch light or thin but carb is sufficient. Sweet maple, hazelnut, roasted malt and a ton of coffee. On the end, I get some bitter licorice as well. I do not have a ton of baltics under my belt, but I do enjoy this one. Love the amount of coffee but it may be a touch thin and maybe a bit sweet, but not a huge knock.
