3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
2009 on tap at the Holiday Ale Fest. Pours a clear brownish copper color. The aroma is sweet apples and honey. The spices are mellow, big fruity notes, heat, sweet sticky honey. Quite nice really. A light spicy core.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle... Poured an amber/copper/red with a thin head. Candied, sugared, honey, malty, earthy aroma. Moderate carbonation, a little dry. A solid, bozziness with a bit sweet, honey and grain character. Apple-like, light fruit, and wine-like tones. But mostly a accents the honey sweetness and strong boozy malts.
