2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at New Old Lompoc’s Side Bar. Colour... essentially black with no head at all. Nose... roasty and kind of acetic. Palate... something’s amiss here! This one is rather odd with a sour/lacto sort of taste. There’s some roasty malt and bits of cocoa, but overall there’s just something wrong here!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap @ Lompoc’s Side Bar... Poured black with little-to-no head. I typically love Lompoc’s barrel aged stuff, but this one received some infection. Tangy with a mild, wine-like tartness that created a thin body. Notes of cocoa, mocha, and malted roast. Drinkable, but not what you’d expect from a Bourbon aged Imp. Stout.
