COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
To call C-Note very hoppy would be an understatement. Itís brewed with the seven "C" hops (Crystal, Cluster, Cascade, Chinook, Centennial, Columbus and Challenger) and pushes the bitterness limit to 100 International Bitterness Units.

Tap at PIB brewfest. Orange/amber colored. A touch hazy. Hop aroma all over this thing. Citrus, floral. Malt tries to accomodate, but just canít keep up. Decent, a bit one sided, but pleasant nonetheless.

A big IPA. Slightly murky orange and brown. Very well balanced. Toasty red ale malts, cherry and sweet malt sugars. Smells similar to Avery Maharaja, with some smooth, almost chewy tinny malts, and some orange and wheat flavor. Very nice.

Iíve had this a few times in the past, but at the Sasquatch Brew Festival this thing was like no other sample iíve had, just perfect. Very floral hops throughout, massive citrus/pine aroma, just very fresh smelling. Flavor was just juicy liquid hops throughout, kinda tasted randalized or just massivley dryhopped.

On tap at the pub. Deep orange color, with a thin white head. Herbal, hoppy, fruity aroma. Grapefruit, and a generious amount of hop bitterness for flavor. Dry, juicy finish. On the menu list they claim this is a double IPA. If I were to rate it as a double, it would lack the malt backbone and strength needed to rate well. But as an IPA itís pretty satisfying.

Medium orange color. Small head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. A medium bodied imperial pale ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are fairly aggressive, grapefruity, piney and bitter. The hop bitterness really comes across at the finish. Touches of orange and citrus. A little watery and thin. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
