3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark red-orange with a small white head. Candied citrus and piney undertones in the aroma. Pineapple, mango, citrus, and a resinous pine hop flavor gestalt dominates with some bready malt bracing. Evergreen resin hop bitterness slightly lingers in the finish, with some sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium light, slightly dry.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Mitsuya Liquors. Pours a deep copper with a finger of head. Loads of caramel and orange in the nose, but the malt really takes over as it warms. I get malt candy (gobstoppers) all over the nose. Almost like a malt shake. Some light cardboard and light funkiness in the background (slight brett issue I assume). Probably not in the best condition honestly. Malty finish. Meh.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Shared at Craft. Hazy copper pour with off-white head. Nose was caramel malt, resiny hops. Tasted rich, hoppy, with more resin and some fruity notes late.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a slight hazy burnt orange to off sort of brown color. Slim fingerís white foamy head starts and dissipates at a nice pace. Messy lace occurs as the head dissipates.
The smell starts off with a sly citrus hoppiness. Subtle pine notes glide into a sweet malt base. Somewhat dry, with a sticky hoppiness coming in.
The flavor takes in all of the previously mentioned flavors sliding together sweetly. Bitterness shows a sly "oomph" slyly and riding on into the finish (kinda sticky).
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Fair sessionability to it. Sly carbonation.
Overall, very nicely done AIPA, I could see myself coming back to this.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Shared growler. Pours a deep coppery-amber, nice aromas of fruitiness and pine, a touch a malt sweetness. The malt is more pronounced in the flavour, giving this a decent body, a little spicy kick, biscuity mixed with dank pine. Very enjoyable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Berts Growler Garage. Label lists as Imperial, ABV says IPA...good catch, moderators. Pours out nice dark copper with soft, airy head. Astringent hops rule the aroma, and taste too. Body seems on the light side, finishes fairly abruptly also. Seems like it could have been a bit bigger with a touch of something else, but what?

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
C-Note bottle from World Beer Market served in a pint glass. It pours a deep amber with a nice spicy malt and fruity hop aroma. Medium-full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. The taste is well balanced bitter fruits and biscuity malts. A spot on IPA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Fred Meyer, Portland / Hollywood District
Being also sold at Walmart shouldnít be a good sign... Beautiful bright amber color, red copper, with medium sized head. The enthusiasm for this beer, given by name and appearance, quickly deflates; itís a very ordinary beer, almost more Pale Ale or Amber Ale than India, with dryish mouthfeel, simple caramel profile, strong bitterness, and serious lack of hop quality.
Clean beer, just not exciting.
