2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Fifth Quadrant, pours a hazy orange amber with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out massive smoky notes - not getting anything else on the nose. Flavour is all smoke, with no hint of cherry or anything else. Pure dry smoke. Okay for what it is, but not a complex or refined beer.

On tap at Fredfest 2012. Pours reddish amber with a nice beige head and a cherry aroma. Ther is a caramel malt base with a light cherry taste. Too thin.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap @ The BeerMongers... Poured deep, amber/reddish with a thin head. Not that good. Sweet malt flavors and muddled cherry flavor. Wine and cherry were competing here leaving the beer to fall flat. Maybe a different base beer, or different barrels and it could be more successful. Or maybe blend this with something else. Didn’t seem worth releasing.
