Beardface (1509) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - AUG 18, 2010

Tap at 5th Quadrant. Deep black pour with a nice tan head. Tastes and smells of roast, light earth hops, a little chocolate and vanilla. Very smooth and easy to drink, I enjoyed this one.

Draught. Poured black with thick beige head. Much lacing. Aroma as roast malt, some hop and chocolate. Full bodied flavour, thick and chewy. Lasting malty finish. Very smooth

Tap @ Their NW location... Poured black with a brown head. Malty, toasty aroma. A very easy drinking beer with low bitterness and mild alcohol heat. Not a lot of hops going on too. Full bodied and sort of dry. Roasted malts and a sweet, almost vanilla-like tone. Not overly complex but very solid.
