COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in collaboration with Bazi Bierbrasseri for their 2nd anniversary, this Belgian Farmhouse style had 8 gallons of black currant puree added at the end of fermentation. It has a fruity aroma and flavor, finishing slightly tart and spicy. It was named Forbidden Fruit due to the restrictions of growing black currants in the U.S. during the 20th century; those restrictions have since been lifted and black currants can now be grown in OR, NY, VT and CT.

On tap at Saraveza, pours a hazy orange amber with a medium white head. Aroma of earthy farmhouse notes, stone fruits and berries. Flavour brings out stone fruits, oak, farmhouse notes and more fruity esters. Very fruity and dry. Really well-balanced. Great stuff.

Draft at Uber. Hazy golden color, white head. Aroma of funky and dusty fruit. Taste is slightly sour fruit. Tasty.
