This Northwest Red ale is malty and full bodied with a deep, rich red color. Proletariat Red reminds us that work is the curse of the drinking class!

Serving: from tap at The Beer Junction. Aroma: lightly piney hoppy. Appearance: average-sized, creamy, off-white, initial head with excellent lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, flat, amber/orange body. Taste: moderately bitter initial flavor and lightly acidic finish with chocolate overtones and average duration. Palate: medium bodied with oily texture and soft carbonation. Overall: a great beer. I would like to drink this again.

(Bottle) Pretty good. Sweet and a bit thin. A pretty nice, simple red. Nothing fancy here but nothing bad either.

Bottle at Uber, Seattle during Lompoc night. Dark, clear orange-brown. Good foam. Amber-malty aroma, but balanced with green hops. Tasty, balanced beer. Very solid red.

Decent red. Good flavor but kind of a funky smell. But the flavor is really good!

Pours a finger of head on a hazy dark red body. The aroma is a deep malt smell. The taste has good balance with the malt sweetness and lemon bitterness playing off each other. Good balance. The texture is smooth. A nice drinkable ale.

Pretty good tasting. It has a very strong after taste that will linger, even after you wash down a different beer after.

"Nice balance of sweet malt and some light bitter citrus hops, but again, there’s a commonality with their smaller beers and this is another that is pretty average...."

Solid NW Red Ale. Varies from batch to batch. Can be thin at times and all the way to creamy when served on nitro.

Bomber from Oregon. Very enjoyable beer w/malty, roast, biscuit, & caramels working together w/a slight nod to the hops. I could drink this often.

Draft at portland OR pizza place. Nitro. Huge nitro head copper red color. Aroma is masked by the nitro head, but smells a little caramel. Grains, some caramel, biscuit. Kind If funky tasting. Would not get again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber from portland, or. Caramel malt aroma with notes of hops and spice. Pours pours reddish copper colored with one finger of off-white head with excellent retention and no lacing. Very malt forward flavor to start with the sweet caramel malt dominating to start. Finishes dry with a bit of the spice and hops coming through at the end. Nice, well balanced red. Definitely one of the best I've come across.
