Dark brown in color, creamy tan head. Big Oatmeal and dark malt aroma. Tasty thick dark roasty malty flavors with a hint of smoke. This was smooth and creamy. Yes I am talking about a beer.

Coffee roasted notes with bittersweet chocolate and toffee notes. Dark, almost black with creamy beige head. Bitter coffe and chocolate are delicate but noticeable. Finish trails off. Creamy and silky body that is quite filling. Residual sweetness lingers and softens the charred aspect.

[2966-20100626] Tap. Coffee banana aroma. Black brown body with a long-lasting foamy brown head and thick lacing. Coffee grounds flavour and lots of roasted malt. Medium-full body. All coffee, little dimension in that respect.

2010-06-26. Black body with a nice tan head and lace. 4+ Dusty mildly roasty malt aroma, bit of coffee character as it warms up. 6+ Flavour is surprisingly mild, dilute roast. Sweet dark malt base, dry roasty bitterness in the finish. Palate is remarkably light for a stout. Okay but did not impress me much today. On Tap at the brewpub, Portland.

This cream stout settles its rich, viscous, molasses black body into the glass and is capped by a layer of creamy, light colored chocolate. So smooth-looking it appears nitrogenated. Characterized by a pleasing, roasty and chocolate bouquet with sweet milk and dust notes. Smooth-bodied, with a roasty chocolate oatmeal body. Exceptionally quaffable.

Really dark black. Light tan head. Smells like chocolate. Medium body; mild carbonation. It’s all chocolate until a strong coffee finish. Delicious.

Pours with the deep brown moving up to tan moving up to beige. Smells of brown sugar, caramels, and milkiness. Very creamy palate. Tastes of toasted malts, coffee, and oats. Enjoyable.
