2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Aroma kind of harsh with what maybe was supposed to be smoke but for me was a burning alcohol sort of smell with molasses and bread that add some positive qualities. Flavor again harsh with bold and boring hop bitterness competing with the oddly strong alcohol for 6.9% and leaving the positive notes behind. Not a favorite.

22. Pours a nearly opaque ebony with a dense, creamy tan head that fades fairly to a loose scattering of bubbles and stringy lace. Mild nose of brown bread and molasses. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Rich roasty molasses and brown bread on the mid-palate, nice campfire finish. Good twist on the big heavy new world winter warmers. Tasty, complex enough, very drinkable.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle thanks to kenb. Pours brown with a small light tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, crackery malt, stale malt, and a touch of grassy hops. Flavor is harsh with brash bitter hops, odd-tasting caramel malt, and burnt malt. Ugh, just not tasty at all.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 ounce bottle, listed as special draft, not strong draft just like the picture, thanks to BrewDad. Pours a very nice dark brown/red color with a very thick foamy light beige head. A nice nose of earthy malts, caramel, light smoke. A sweet earthy flavor, caramel, almost no alcohol. A kinda odd, but not unpleasant earthy dry flavor in the finish- like really earthy chocolate. Nice brew.

Bomber courtesy of Kenb. Pours clear dark amber with a half finger light tan head that results in streaky lacing. The nose is roasted nuts, dark fruit and caramel. The taste is ash, smoky malt, dark caramel, roast and citrus hops with some pine in the finish. Medium semi creamy mouthfeel. Tasty brew – thanks Ken!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A cloudy, amber pour with an enduring head. Soy, vinegar, molasses, licorice, and smoked malt. Tangy, nutty, and hoppy with a touch of alcohol. Bottle is decent; draft is even better.
