3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance: Pours a clearish, dark brown body with a thin, bubbly, white head.
Smell: Dark malty scents of cocoa and toffee accompanied by a rather sharp note of smoked, charred grains.
Taste: Chocolate and toasted toffee precede a blast of charry grains full of roasty and smokey qualities. Earthy hops with a medium bitterness. Touch of dried herbs. Additional hints of char and cocoa on the dry finish that last well into the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-high carbonation.
Drinkability: Worth a try. Lompoc’s LSD is fairly well-balanced and drinkable.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Transparent amber mahogany brown with a thin, clingy-lacing light tan head. Aroma of toasty dry caramel malts and some resiny grapefruity hops. Starts with good malty fullness and dark caramel sweetness along with a pleasant citrusy bittering hop balance and bitterness before a crisp bittersweet finish. A nice strong ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours from bomber a dark brown/black, forms nice size light brown foamy head. Aroma of smoky like malts, peat earth, and mud. Flavour much of the same, hops do come through, giving a slight bitterness that balances this beer nicely. Fairly good draft beer, would love to bathe in it first, then gulp it.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark brown with moderate head. 2 of my favorite flavor profiles in a beer are definitely smoke and hops, and the LSD gives me both. It is really just a hint of smoke that could probably be mistaken for deeply roasted malt or barrel aging. Moderately sweet base malt. Really enjoyable mix that I can easily drink a 22oz of.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is one weird brew. Sampled on draft at the brewpub. It has a crazy, nutty character like and imp nut brown. Weird. I repeat weird.
