Bottle green, 500 ml, 11.8 P
Appearance: Pours nice clear (almost clear), moderately saturated and moderately carbonated body with a nice, golden, deep body in colour. Head is very bright, pure and snowy white, initially moderate to big with a surprisingly nice and quite firm lacing. Head is slowly decreasing to moderate and is long lasting and firm.
Aroma: Front is soft, gently grassy, slightly skunky at initiall sniff but quickly becoming pleasant and even slightly alfa hoppy. Very gentle, graphite like and very pleasant, soft grainy base with a pronounced barley accent. Slightly perfumy.
Flavour: Front is sweet initially, very soft, pillowy and almostcreamy on palate, hoppy, grassy - spicy alfa hops are present, later on at the back and in the aftertaste there is pure and clean grainy, all malt, barley base with a positive, slightly alcoholic hint. Very smooth, refreshing and easy going. Gentle vegetable and vegetable accent. Bitterness on palate is only gentle.
Palate: Body is light, texture is rather wattery, carbonation on palate is soft to moderate. Finish feel is slightly bitter and chalky.

Light hoppy aroma. Average, frothy, white head. Fair lacing. Mostly diminishing longevity. Clear, yellow body. Moderate bitter flavor.

Bottle 500ml from Parkhill Cellars. Nice nose, but the body doesn’t carry it well. Aromas of caramel, honey, and hay. Taste is sweet, and doesn’t last much. Palate is oily, and medium bodied. Yellow, with a thin head that disappears.

Die Schaumkrone dieses Exportbieres hält mittelmäßig gut. Es riecht säuerlich, hopfig und schmeckt anfangs schön malzig, und wird leicht herb, lässt man es aber nur wenige Minuten stehen, wird es schal. Test vom 21.12.2009, Gebinde: Dose Noten: 8,7,8,8,8,8 - 7,85

500ml can. Clear pale orange with a loose white head. Grainy aroma with herbs and a little lemon. Rather sweet and grainy with modest bitterness. A little honey. Clean with some nice herbal notes, but a bit dull.

Really good in taste. Medium apperance - the foam is disappearing quickly, colour is light-gold. One of best Polish beers in taste in my opinion.

Bottle from Polish shop in West Brom. Pale gold, no head. Aroma is inoffensive and purposefully malty. Rather good lager here: firm, seasoned malt, which has just the right amount of sweetness and refreshment, making it very drinkable. Rather good.

Clear light amber with a thin light head, weedy aroma, subtle body with a slight bitter finish.

50cl bottle bought in Denham. Another solid Polish lager. Amber with a fast fading white head; soft body with relatively high carbonation and a pleasantly malty flavour; and a lightly bitter finish.

Not much different than a regular pale lager although it is well made. Not bad.

Schroppfy (2335) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - FEB 28, 2011
Acceptable. Malty, a bit sugary unfortunately, in the flavor, grain, light bitterness. Aroma is some basic field hay, sharp but not clean or that fresh. When warm a big oily body. Frothy weird head.
