SilkTork (5360) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Kent, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2015
500ml black can with sketch of a woman pouring a man a beer. From Polish supermarket in Southampton for 99p. Fairly crude malt with vegetable and corn flavours. Some moderate sweetness, but inclined to a dry palate, especially for a 7% beer. Some plastic notes in the aroma. Not a good beer. I like my Polish strong lagers, but this isn’t a good example.

Can from MOP Polski Sklep, West Bromwich. Copper beer with small head. Aroma is bready, caramel and yeast. Taste is brown bread, malts, caramel and some alcohol warmth. Good stuff, almost Belgian in style.

Bottle. Pours oragish dark yellow with small foamy white head, yeast aroma, sweetish bread like taste, low carbonation, abrupt finish with sour aftertaste. Not the best or the worst beer i have tasted so far.

Canned 500ml. -from random gas station in Poland. Darker golden coloured, medium to big sized white head, (green) apples in the nose. Sweet malty, bready, quite noticable alcohol and touch of green apples with touch of metal in rather sweet finish. Typical Polish Mocne.

500ml can (supermarket, Warsaw)
Rough Malt Liquor aroma, some bready malts, something rough and chemical. Smooth sweet palate, nice carbonation. Even though this was at room temperature, it was not hot and boozy. Clean, sweetish malts, a bit bready. Hops only low in the finish. Not good per se, but I finished my glass without complaining once, I was even a little bit positive about it. Scary, a Van Puke that doesn’t suck donkey balls, that’s a shock.
