Can 500 ml (Carrefour, Warsaw). Clear copper color, small steady off-white head. Aroma is terrible riped fruity, apply, alcohol. Medium to light-bodied. Toffee, fruits and alcohol. Overly sweet, no bitterness. Duh.

Can from the Polish shop opposite Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Golden-amber with a thin head. Has a light carbonation. Average lager with a noticeable strength, but not too overbearing.

500ml can: live rate on 16th May 2015. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home with the sun shining through the patio doors, it’s a lovely if breezy evening here in Shropshire. Billowing fluffy white blanket of foam on the clear amber/bronze body: loads of carbonation bubbles rising through the body. Sweet malty nose and taste: too sweet for it’s own good actually and I have a sweet tooth. Headache inducing I should imagine, glad I only bought the one can.

Całkiem całkiem. Aromat bez szału, ale też bez większych wad. Wygląd średni, piana słaba, lekko obrączkuje. W smaku słodko, bez wyczuwalnego alkoholu, a goryczka niska.

500ml black can with sketch of a woman pouring a man a beer. From Polish supermarket in Southampton for 99p. Fairly crude malt with vegetable and corn flavours. Some moderate sweetness, but inclined to a dry palate, especially for a 7% beer. Some plastic notes in the aroma. Not a good beer. I like my Polish strong lagers, but this isn’t a good example.

Can from MOP Polski Sklep, West Bromwich. Copper beer with small head. Aroma is bready, caramel and yeast. Taste is brown bread, malts, caramel and some alcohol warmth. Good stuff, almost Belgian in style.

Can from Alisha, Dudley Port. Burnished sunset colour. A really juicy swig. Squelching, warming booze. Hot finish. Crispish start.

Bottle. Pours oragish dark yellow with small foamy white head, yeast aroma, sweetish bread like taste, low carbonation, abrupt finish with sour aftertaste. Not the best or the worst beer i have tasted so far.

Can. Golden brown with a thin head. Aromas are apple and grain with brown sugar. Toffee syrup with mellow lemon and raisins. Flavours are sweet grain and Weetabix with nasty chemicals and mellow lemon. Boozy, peppery with cardboard. Difficult.

Decent strong lager from Poland. Malty aroma with notes of hay. Malty taste with moderate bitterness. Medium body , high carbonation. The trace of alcohol is soft and faded.
