2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Much better than I expected- usually these Eastern European strong lagers have a great smell (as this one had the smell of honey, roses, and peaches) and the taste of garbagewater. This one, instead, had the flavor of a water bottle that had been in the sun for a few days with a sack of grains soaking in it. Not too bad. Not that Iíd buy it again, mind you- once is enough. Bottle at Lucky Liquors, Miami.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a cloudy blonde with a white head, light sweet aroma with not an oversweet flavor. My first thought was a Polish whit beer. Not overpowering, no nasty aftertaste, drinkable but not exceptional. I got the 7.8%.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: MAR 10, 2009 nose of cereal malts and possibly sweet corn. appearance is standard for pale lager. flavor isnt nearly as sweet as nose would have you think, or as the style might preclude. alcohol is well hidden, ive had much worse for the category, for certain.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle via R-Dog dare. Nose of lots of malts. Pours a deeper amber golden. Fizzy head. Lots of malts in body and surprisingly some oaky/bourbonish heat that isnít short lived. A surprise lager nonetheless. entire mouthfeel is quick but still a bit skunk-o-rific. Thanks Rick.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Murky light amber in color with a smell of apricots or some such fruit sweetness. Tastes fairly fruity and sort of strong in character. A little too malty for my liking.
