Let this be the beer that destroys your stereotypes about malt liquor. First whiff of this beer will remind you of tart apples, like an apple wine, a thin smell, maybe due to the higher acohol content. Drink it cold, and it is smooth and malty, like a milkshake, with low carbonation. As it warms to room temperature you will detect its earthiness. The head is not soapy. It is very smooth and creamy, like a malt ought to be. It tastes like a slightly flat hard cider, made from apples not quite as tart as granny smiths. If you made a beer from granny smiths dipped in caramel you have this beer. Add just the slightest touch of earthiness. The color is a tad cloudy, with a nice golden hue.
Be warned, in addition to the 7.8% acl content this beer has some other magical ingredient that will do a number on you, real fast. I can’t identify this component, but it is the main reason this beer has been named the official band beer for my rock band. This is prescription strength beer, and it’ll "cure what ails ya". It comes in a snub bottle as well as the one pictured here. There is also some nice artwork on the label. 11.2 oz

Bought this at a Polish market down the road (along with some Pierogies!) I was initially attracted to the colorful label on the bottle and the 16.9 oz size (not to mention the 7.8% ABV!) Golden in color. Similar in taste to other Polish beers I've had before (many on tap). Pleasant. Unobtrusive. I daresay that this drinks like a really good Budweiser!
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 bsp77 (724) - Minnesota, USA - SEP 5, 2011
Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Pint glass.
Appearance: Clear, light bronze with moderate fizzy head. Light lacing.
Aroma: Hoppy aroma (with grass, lemon and herbs) but fairly sweet, with some cherry and caramel beneath.
Taste: Not as sweet as the aroma (but still somewhat sweet), and mild considering the abv. Cherry, bread, caramel and biscuit dominate the flavor, with some herbal and spicy hops providing a little (but not quite enough) balance. Still, surprisingly enjoyable.
Palate: Moderate carbonation, medium body. As expected, there is some amount of residual sweetness.
Overall: For a Euro Strong Lager, this actually is pretty damn good, and it thankfully isn’t overly cloying. The "Malt Liquor" moniker on the label is simply a travesty.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 wlajwl (1809) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - JUL 12, 2011
Malty with a hint of sweetness in the aroma while the appearance is golden. The flavor is malty and grainy with some hops in the aftertaste. Good upgrade from a pale lager, not a malt liquor but a good lager overall.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 RSRIZZO (1683) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 23, 2007

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Cybercat (1913) - Georgia, USA - MAY 23, 2007
Appearance is about average, a typical clear amber-yellow and very foamy (be careful when you open the bottle). Malty aroma has a strong yeast component. Flavor is lively and malty, with a little hop taste and bitterness and toffee hints. Smooth and rich, it is an enjoyable malt liquor.
3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Angeloregon (2054) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 1, 2007
Golden malt liquor with quickly dissipating head and a sweet tangy alcoholic finish. I can understand why others might not like this so mush, but for the style it is one of the best.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 HopheadHans (794) - Bay Area, California, USA - DEC 24, 2008
Bottle. Pours with a golden color. Some grainy aroma with citrus notes. Flavors of grains and sweet honey. A bit of alcohol and then some hops in the finish. Typical Czech or East European lager characteristics, I liked it.
