Bottled 29/04/14. A black beer with a little whitish head and lace. A tasty beer for sure. Chocolatey malts and citrussy hops. Not as bitter as other BIPAs but the chocolate adds another dimension which for me made it really good.

Med brown, orangey chocolate nose. The flavour is strange, odd fruitiness, random dark malts...none of it comes together.

EdKing (1793) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 10, 2013
Cask in the Brixton Craft Beer Co. Opaque very dark brown with thin foam off white head. Nose is roasted malt, dark chocolate, pine hops, citrous, liquorice. Taste is nice balance between roasty malts, chocolate and some zingy pine and light tropical fruit and citrous pine. Subtle hops and not overwhelming or too sweet.

imdownthepub (10001) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 10, 2013
Cask conditioned at Egham Beer Festival #16. Black with cream head. This proved to be a rich, fruity beer with chocolate roasted malts, blackberry, forest fruit type notes. Some liquorice flavours later on. Full and flavousome, I really enjoyed this.

berkshirejohn (4396) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 9, 2013
Cask at the 16th Egham Beer Festival at 5.3% ABV. Black with an amber glow and a translucent head; vegetable aroma; black treacle taste with some lurking stewed vegetables; and vegetable bitterness that leads to a lingering, sweetish finish. Not my kind of thing.

Cask at the Egham beer festival 2013, clear black with no head, aromas of melon and sourdough, then on the palate piney hops, treacle and golden fruit. Dry, fruity and juicy with a touch of bitter chocolate. Lovely.

ChrisO’s Pre GBBF ’Are You Scottish?’ tasting. As ’Black & White IPA’. Hazy brown beer, little pale tan head. Light fruits hops, generic fruits. Little floralness. Light dry finish. Nice enough!
