2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Med brown, orangey chocolate nose. The flavour is strange, odd fruitiness, random dark malts...none of it comes together.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask in the Brixton Craft Beer Co. Opaque very dark brown with thin foam off white head. Nose is roasted malt, dark chocolate, pine hops, citrous, liquorice. Taste is nice balance between roasty malts, chocolate and some zingy pine and light tropical fruit and citrous pine. Subtle hops and not overwhelming or too sweet.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask conditioned at Egham Beer Festival #16. Black with cream head. This proved to be a rich, fruity beer with chocolate roasted malts, blackberry, forest fruit type notes. Some liquorice flavours later on. Full and flavousome, I really enjoyed this.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask at the 16th Egham Beer Festival at 5.3% ABV. Black with an amber glow and a translucent head; vegetable aroma; black treacle taste with some lurking stewed vegetables; and vegetable bitterness that leads to a lingering, sweetish finish. Not my kind of thing.
