Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is fruity, floral, nectary with some sweet maltyness. Flavour is fruity, mild dry wooden notes, some floral notes as well as some resiny and maltyness. Pleasant fruity aftertaste.

Bottle at home in London. Pours clear gold with a small, creamy white head. Aroma is all biscuity malts and floral straw. Light to medium sweet with more buscuity malts, lightly tangy lemon, some lightly toasted dough, mild hay and sun-burnt grass. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with decent bitterness, a bit of grassy twang on the tongue, some bready and biscuity malt sweetness, a bit of citrus zest. Yeah, this is a really solid golden. Very well balanced, very clean, with a refreshing hop zip to finish. Has a nicely nuanced character. Excellent beer.

[330ml bottle, London Fields Brewery] Very hazy golden yellow pour. Yeasty, fruity citrus nose. Dry, fruity golden ale-style palate, with more yeast following. Touch of caramel malt in there as well – but mostly sweet fruit. Refreshing stuff [03122011]

Thanks Rich for sharing this bottle. Pours a blonde colour with a thin white head. Aroma of apple, yeast and caramel. Nice yeasty flavour upfront with a little lemon, caramel and barley. Moderate carbonation and a little oily.

From cask at brewery open day. Clear golden/amber colour with tiny head. Aroma slightly hoppy, touch of yeastiness. Taste is quite sweet with slight maltiness. Medium bodied.
