Note: New version from late 2012 with lower abv and different recipe.
A true union of malt and hops, with silky texture and soft caramel flavours cuddling up to a rich pear and summer fruit character.

500ml bottle from Sourced Market St Pancras. Clear russet colour with lasting near white head. Grapefruity hoppy aroma. Now that is a very nice beer. Decent full malts and then a lovely grapefruity hop. Very good bitter.

Clitheroe Beer Festival 2016. Clear darker copper coloured ale. The ale has a sweetness in both aroma and taste, but also a very light malty bitterness. It’s sticky-sweet in its texture to an extent.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy dark amber coloured with a thin white head. It has a rich nutty, chocolate and red fruity flavour followed by a smooth fruity and roasted finish. Very nice.

Taste from a friend (bottle). Pours hazy amber with a high off-white head. Aroma is fruity bitter malts. Flavor is malts, fruits and hops. Very nice bitter.

Pint from cask. Clear ruby/amber with quite a thick head that lasts. aroma is malts, cereal, hay and wet grass. taste is malty at first followed by dry citrus fruits. hoppy bitter finish.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep amber with a nice lacy head. Nose - pine and grapefruit, light red fruits and crystal malts. Taste - crystal malt, grapefruit. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - yeah well made beer.
