COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Much like the people passing through London Fields everyday, our Pale Ale is a fantastic combination of young and old. Starting off as a classic citrussy English Pale Ale and with the addition of modern Galaxy hops from Tasmania, it finishes with a kick of tropical fruit. Available in cask & 500ml bottles

Light haze, thick white head. Minimal aroma, a tinge of wheat in the taste with a dry hop character. Decent.

Nothing to go on about here, just a solid and very citrus based Pale. Very sessionable stuff. Not bad at all

It’s a bottle-conditioned 500ml and bucks the trend for upping the alcohol by coming in at only 3.9%. It poured an attractive burnished gold with good carbonation and a large, white head. The bouquet was malt-fruit; some biscuit malt with distinct citrus notes. The body was light with good, crisp citrus and passion fruit flavours coming through. There’s a good level of bitterness that stings the inside of the cheek and leads to a satisfyingly dry finish. This is a refreshing, easy-drinker that will satisfy your hop cravings

500ml bottle. Filmy golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Flat hop aroma, hints of gooseberry and chamomile. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, minimally grassy hoppy overtones, a touch of hay, hints of gooseberry. Nope.

500ml bottle bought at Sourced Market St Pancras. Unclear, orange coloured body. Beige head, solid stand. Malt-fruity nose. Fruit hoppy flavour followed by a rounded dry bitter tail. Soft in the mouth. Refreshing and well made (shared with friends at our hotel room, London 27.11.2012).

Bottle. Bronze slightly cloudy appearance. Lively on opening with a big head that took time to dissipate,Quite a lot of sediment was floating around my glass even tough I was careful poring it. London micro’s have produced some impressive bottled beers recently. This isn’t one of them.

Leighton (10675) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 17, 2012
Bottle at home in London. Pours lightly cloudy gold, effervescent, with a frothy white head. Pale bready malt nose, some sharp hay. Light sweet flavour with dry bread, bitter hay, light dirty grass. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Dry finish with fairly strong grassy bitterness. A bit over carbonated and a touch too bitter. OK overall.
