COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask, Keg & Bottle; Regular.
Our brand new IPA launching at The Pigs Ear Beer Festival. 3 different malts and 3 different hops join together, inspired by the mystical Shoreditch Triangle lay lines. It will be a new permanent beer for us with the single hop IPAs taking more of a back seat.

Cask. Darker rust brown orange. Tea and slight citrus hops in the aroma with some dough and bread. Flavor is kinda dull with tea hoppiness again, some dry bread and sligt caramel. Medium body.

Bottle at London Fields Brewery. Thanks to Columbus and the Chinook Indian who told me to head to Hackney. aww the beer was magical. Properly hopped. Solid and strong. Awesomely bitter. Yes everything became clear to me indeed.

Bottle @ World Cup Brasil Tasting. Cheers to Hallinghansen. Pours cloudy dark golden with a small creamy head. Lots of hops. Pine, grapefruit and yeast. The yeast is a tad too muddy. Some phenolic notes. Rubber and dust. Bitter hoppy finish.

Pint in Shoreditch, appropriately enough. Lovely rich brown colour and smooth sipping taste. Dangerously drinkable for 6% too. Will be looking out for it again...

Bottle. Appearance is burnt amber, with a nice haze. One finger off-white head which lasts. Aroma- grapefruit and orange, creamy malts, fruity hops. Taste- quite a lot of malt here, very bitter, almost roasty, burnt toast with marmalade, bitter fruits, orange peel, some grapefruit, medium to full mouthfeel and a bit creamy. Pretty good IPA.

Bottle from Kris Wines, London. Cloudy orange-brown colour, small white head. Pungent smell of citrus and pine. Taste is bitter with a focus on pine and some citrus orange. Enjoyable.

More pine than citrus from the hops. Heavy in the glass. Lots of sediment but it tastes fresh. A solid IPA but not exciting one way or another. Would be happy to see it on tap in my local.

A pint at The Pommeler’s Rest, London. At the Wetherspoons rate of 2.75, plus my CAMRA discount, I’ll be coming back for this IPA again, and probably again. It isn’t a great IPA, but it’s a good one, and the price makes it really tempting. Pours a beautiful brownish golden, with a decent head that hung around for a while. A bit grassy on the nose, salty caramel but crisp. Tastes good. Malty and bitter, brilliantly balanced. London Fields hasn’t impressed me much before, but this IPA is a winner.

Aroma: hay, grass, flowers. Appearance: dark pale gold, small white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: light bitters and sweets competing, medium-long finish. Overall: nice IPA, nice bitters in the palate. Bottle from Odd Bins, Pimlico.
