Pint from tap at the brewpub. Golden with a white head. Light fruity and malty aroma. Sweet with a slightly bitter finish and a slightly metallic taste. Somewhat bitter aftertaste. Nice enough, but nothing special, could have been better with more hops and bitterness. Still a nice break from the domestic pale lagers of Thailand. (2012-05-15)

on tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy pils colour. Ok pils but I’m not really a pils lover. I just had to try it.

Draught at the pub. Slight hazy yellow golden coloured with a small dense egg white head. Aromas of vegetables, pale malt and some grass. Flavours of grainy malt, some yeast and mild hops. Boring brew..

Thanx Sammy for this one. yellow with good head not much retention. nose is grassy, sorta yeasty, as is the flavor, it kinda has some dough like flavor.has some decent hops and is definatly quafable. easy drinking and so cool to try it here. Thanx again Sammy

A very fresh beer brought back in small hand bottles, thanks Karuna! Very yellow but a good yeasty head with lots of lace. Smell is faintly mildly cheesy, and about a medium mouthfeel, no preservatives here. Like a well made Canadian hockey game watching beer.

Slightly hazy golden color with small white head. Parfumic brewing mash aroma. Quite watery, hints of brewing mash. Slightly sweet, hoppy enough to qualify as "a pilsner". Soft hoppy aftertaste.

I’m not a big fan of lager/pilsner style beers, but this is actually quite drinkable, especially when compared to dross like Heineken and the Thai beers (Singha & Chang). It’s pretty smooth and not too gassy with a nice but subtle flavour. Best of all, it often features in the Londoner’s 2 for 1 promotion.

Hazy golden body with a full, white head. It looked more like a weizen than the pilsner it claimed to be. The aroma is fairly balanced with some pale malts and some mild hop character. The body was pretty nice and not too thick, which is nice with the hot, humid weather. The flavor is nice with a crisp, bitter finish that makes this beer enjoyable. Nothing special, but it was nice to have a brewpub beer, even if it wasn’t the best in the world.

Moderately hazy golden color with some Saaz hops in the nose. The mouth had an interesting toasted malt character and then finishes moderately bitter and somewhat dry. The better of their two beers, but nothing special.

Hazy gold colour. Aroma shows a bit of pale malt character, with some celery-accented hop overtones. Sweet malts are the focus with herbal hop notes and a slightly sweaty, doughy yeastiness. Tastes ilke a Russian brewpub pale lager.
