COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our ESB is deep amber in color and has a nice toasty/malty sweetness, a signature of the English Crystal and Amber malts. Generous quantities of Galena, Norther Brewer, Styrian, Goldings and Centennial hops will certainly be a favorite with fans of a slightly more aggressive style.

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Very lively pour, dark orange amber with a volcanic off white head that takes three installments to complete the pour. Aroma is toasty caramel and plastic phenols. Very lively mouthfeel, over carbonated. Flavours of toast, toffee, earthy hops, and more plastic. I just can’t get over the carbo-- this thing is a gas bomb!

Bottle: Hazy amber color with a large, fluffy beige head. Bready malt aroma and light florals. Taste is more bready, earthy, and somewhat dry florals. Sort of a floral spicey almost rye note. Interestingly dry and herbal.

Taster at the brewpub. Nice body and a little more pronounce presence than the headplant. Caramel malt is a little more forward with some candi sugar sweetness. Grass and hay, english hop profile. Good to style sort of beer.

Draft @ the Brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with hoppy bitter hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

Sample at the brewery. Hazy amber/orange, frothy light tan head. Aroma of floral and citrus hops, toffee. Taste was mildly astringent and funky. Very herby, vineous hop taste. Medium light body, soft carbonation.

Brought back from Toby’s great Montana Growler round up. Pours out a copper/amber topped with a tan head. Aroma was of hops and sour malts and a little toast. Taste was a nice sweet chocolate and more of the roast malt. Along with a hop.

Growler - Thanks Toby! - Pours amber with a tan head...aroma is impressive, cocoa, toasted malt and some nuts, rough grain coming through as well...flavour, not so much, oddly bitter, the dry malty cereal quality that you smell comes through pretty accurately, but the hops are messing with this beer...burnt toast as well...

Dark amber pour with small brownish head. Sweet toasty and nutty nose. Flavor has a bit of a hoppy hit up front that soon fades to a malty chewy finish. As it warms, the roasted malt really comes out along with some more sugar and sweetness.
