Bottle, shared with Parksy. Very lively pour, dark orange amber with a volcanic off white head that takes three installments to complete the pour. Aroma is toasty caramel and plastic phenols. Very lively mouthfeel, over carbonated. Flavours of toast, toffee, earthy hops, and more plastic. I just can’t get over the carbo-- this thing is a gas bomb!

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ditmier (1509) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 28, 2009
Growler - Thanks Toby! - Pours amber with a tan head...aroma is impressive, cocoa, toasted malt and some nuts, rough grain coming through as well...flavour, not so much, oddly bitter, the dry malty cereal quality that you smell comes through pretty accurately, but the hops are messing with this beer...burnt toast as well...
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 kyzr (1140) - Belgrade, Montana, USA - MAR 3, 2008
Dark amber pour with small brownish head. Sweet toasty and nutty nose. Flavor has a bit of a hoppy hit up front that soon fades to a malty chewy finish. As it warms, the roasted malt really comes out along with some more sugar and sweetness.
