Our Oatmeal Stout is ... well ... black! Itís chock full of six different imported English malts and 10% flaked oats that give it a thick, rich mouth feel. The Chinook and Northern Brewer hops definitely take a second seat to the roasted and toasty malt profile. This is a stout lovers stout for stout lovers to love ... Peace.

This brewery is amazing, delicious beer, good people, and awesome atmosphere! This beer pours a dark color with a full tan head that becomes a thin tan ring at the top of the beer. The smell is of oatmeal and chocolate that is faint but just enough to leave an impression. The taste is of fine malts and a toasted chocolate flavor which is so good, and last on the palate that leaves you wanting more. Great beer, and a place I will come for a long time!

A little thin on the nose. Dark malt, hay roasted and burnt salted toffee. Cold pressed Berry and olive. No head on tap. Again, needs some more complexity to bring to the next level.

Bottle. Pours black with a nice brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and some light coffee. Flavor of sweet milk chocolate, dark roasted malts, coffee, a hint of cocoa and had a dry roasty finish.

Bomber poured a clear dark reddish brown nearly black with a lingering ring of tan foam. Aromas of roasted malt, bakers cocoa, coffee and light caramel. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of roasted malt, bakers cocoa, light coffee and a hint of licorice with a crisp dry lingering roasty finish.

Growler from brewery. Pours dark brown with thick, frothy tan head; short retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is roasted and light caramel malts, milk chocolate, figs, plums, light earthy hops, and some ash. Flavor is roast malts forward with supporting dark fruit esters, sweet chocolate, light earthy hops; finishes nice and dry/ashy but definitely a lot of sweetness there. Medium body and low carbonation.

Dark brown pour, beige head. Nice roasty aroma, lots of toasted malt, some hops, and chocolate covered coffee beans. Dry and roasty flavor, some hops on the finish, good body from the oats.

On Nitro at Old Chicago. What a beautiful presentation ... Thick and black, nitro serves this beer well. Rich, toasty, almost whiskey-laden. Good, solid, chewy stout. (#4652, 7/4/2012)

Bottle, shared with Parksy and Gripp. Upon popping the cap, a small bubbly brown pillar climbed out of the neck. Not quite a gusher, but leaning that way! Enormous head formation in the glass. Nice choc-roasty aroma and flavour, but this beer is killed by the carbo. It is a gas bomb! The fizziest stout Iíve had in memory. Wow.
