hillfiiiiire (153), Atoka, Tennessee, USA Jun 29, 2008 Dark caramel color with a small-ish white head. Citrus and grapefruit aromas. The flavor is fairly light on the hops, not the kick I like to see with my IPAs, and doesn’t really have an interesting complexity. Does have a noticeable sweet malt character and finishes with a nice bitter. It’s all right. DuffMan (1846), Calgary (back from 1yr in AUS), Alberta, Canada May 7, 2008 Draught. Orange-golden colour, citrus oil and tropical fruit aroma. Passionfruit and grapefruit hop character dominates, but there is a nice underlying cushion of sweet malt. Long bitter finish. Very nice. kyzr (888), Bozeman, Montana, USA Jan 25, 2008 Dark gold color with decent white head. Citrus, orange peel nose. Flavor is grapefruit, bitter with a touch of malt on the back end. Medium body with a little roasty malt that leads to the hoppy/bitter finish.
