Hazy amber pour. Small off white head. Little bit of lacing. I get some caramel in the nose that doesnít seem like it is wanted. Some hops, not much. Taste is sweet, overly. Not much hop taste. Decent.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a hazy bright yellow-gold color with white head. Citrus, floral notes, just a bit of pine, and some sweetness on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with piney sprucey hop resin that lets you know itís a DIPA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the Hay Merchant. An unclear, reddish golden beer with a white to off-white head. The aroma is piney and citrusy, with some sweetish pale malts. Itís full-bodied and nicely carbonated. Sweet, fruity flavor with a bit too less bitterness I think. Pine cones and resins, leading to a lasting bitter finish. A too malt focused DIPA, but itís nice anyway. Canít see myself ordering it again, but you shouldnít hesitate doing so. 140515

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy dark copper under a foamy off-white head. Nose is an odd mix of clean floral hops and orange rind, and a kiss of mineral water. Flavor is a wonderful hop explosion, however, with loads of boozy caramalt and a sturdy bitter grassiness, followed by leafy hops and a touch of earthy grapefruit bitterness. Resounding hop bitterness through the finish thatís sturdy, but not too much. Really lovely. Thereís almost like this chocolate-like sweetness on the undertone.
