COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Initially Pioneer I: Yellow Rose, later on became a regular.

A SMaSH, Single Malt and Single Hop, IPA using a caboodle (technical term for a large amount of malt) of malt and a new hop released in 2012 called Mosaic (HBC 369). It is a daughter of Simcoe (YCR 14), one of our favorite hops. Whole cone Mosaic is used for bittering, flavoring, and aroma in the kettle; it is also massively dry hopped. The beer is named after a Texas Heroine.

Tasting notes: chalk-white head with a very clean malt backbone. The hops impart strong grapefruit, pineapple, and blueberry flavor and aroma. A strong beer that is extremely quaffable.

Lone Pint Yellow Rose is, in my opinion, one of the top three best beers brewed in Texas. The recipe is simple but the result is deliciously complex. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tasted from bottle. Pours a murky yellow with huge thick white head. Aroma of pineapple, melons, lemons. Taste is a nice clean bitterness throughout that is very well balanced. Flavors of pineapple, lemon, grapefruit, caramel. Excellent IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Shared 25.4 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy pale golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is very fresh with grapefruit, citrus, and pineapple. Taste is citrus, grapefruit, funk, malt, and mildly bitter mosaic hops. More fruity than anything else. Even picking up a bit on the blueberry, though Iím not sure Iíd have been able to identify the flavor as blueberry without having read the deScription. Quite refreshing. Lives up to the hype.

Aroma: lots of grapefruit; pretty lively; Appearance: hazy yellow straw with large white head that dissipates slowly; Taste: unexpectedly fruity without too much bitterness; getting some blueberry; quite delicious; Palate: medium-light body with long, lightly bitter finish; Overall: really enjoyed it; a different twist on an ipa; would definitely buy again.

Draft 11/28/15 (Londoner-Addison)-Pours golden with a nice sized white head. Aroma of hops, malt and other fruits. Taste of the same. This light to medium bodied brew is well balanced and was a pleasant surprise.
