Lone Star Light mimics its full-bodied counterpart with an award winning premium light taste. This beer retains the complimentary ratio of barley, cereal grains, and hops of its parent brand, but offers this taste profile at a reduced alcohol by volume percentage. For maximum flavor and zest, this beer retains the level of hopping and carbonation found in the full-calorie version. Heck, we like our light beers big and bold, just like the state of Texas.

For a light beer, this one is the winner. Has more character and flavor than the other light beers plus itís from Texas and is super patriotic. Aroma is pretty much what you would expect from a light beer. The taste is what sets it apart. Perfect for a hot day in the pool or in the sun or really any time you want a refreshing light beer.

This one is a little bit nasty. The aroma is neutral and slightly skunky. The appearance is the same as the full flavor Lone Star. The taste is thin and bland. The palate is light and short. There is discernible hop, muddled and not really complimentary to anything.

Canned at Changi Airport, Singapore. Clear pale yellow, brief head. Fruity corn and rice water aroma. Sweetish with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Water, rice syrup, white pepper and wet paper. No bitterness. Harmless ann joyless, but quite clean

Lone Star Light has a medium, white head, a clear, bubbly, golden appearance, and thin lacing left behind. The interesting aroma is initially of a strong grain husk character, but this fades to a pungent, sweet, grainy, beer smell, which is more pronounced than what one typically encounters in light lagers. The flavor is also stronger and tastier than what is typical for this style- sweet grain, some corn, barley, and a touch of balancing hops all work together for a nice presentation. Mouthfeel is mostly light, and Lone Star Light finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and enjoyable. This is a mellow, good beer. Light beer enthusiasts should love it! RJT

Pours a very clear yellow color with typical light lager corn aroma. Taste is watery with a slight metallic flavor. A very blah beer with no complexity. A simple light beer.

Drank this from the bottle on a warm day riding a motor bike. Just to cool down and have some fun in a bike place. For that it is just fine, donít think I need to say more. (Houston 201205)

Wow, if ever there was a forgettable beer, this is it. Lone Star is at least an iconic brand, known across the (expansive) state as a classic vehicle for alcohol while the band plays in the background. But the light version? Meh, bring on the Shiner!

[Bottle] Pours a clear golden color with a fizzy white head. Aroma of grains, corn and metal. Weak taste of grains, sweet vegetables and some cardboard. Watery and thin palate. Not many good qualities here, as expected.
