1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle. Poured a small white fizzy head that quickly dissipated, virtually no lacing, minimal carbonation, transparent, and a yellow hue. Nose was some light hops, some corn and some malt. Ditto for the flavor plus being thin and watery. Mouthfeel was tingly, watery and thin. Light body. Lacks a lot of aroma and flavor. Rating is complete and moving on.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottled. Pale yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma and flavour in this one pretty much like in the "normal" version, but I do feel like this one may have a bit of rice or maize in it, since along with a slight hoppyness it has a strange sweetness in it. Not too bad, but most likely not needed to buy this one again... Has a bit same issues as Bud has with the "Swedish" Bud 3.5%, the lower % beer tastes more... erraneous! Got both Lone Star and this from a friend who just came back after a few years in the states... without knowing I rate beer, so I was happy that he had brought some stuff with him and he decided to let me taste a "few" new ones...

Remarkable, since there was no real aroma and no real flavour to this beer. If present this in lieu of water, youíll be quite pleased. If given this after asking for a beer you wonít. Inoffensive to the palate in the way that carbonated water is.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Nice light straw color, small white head that faded quickly leaving nothing behind. The aroma was faint malt and grainy with a bit of a corny side. The flavor was pretty nasty with a grainy taste up front fairly thin with some faint hint of hops in the back ground and precious little else.I guess rating it for itís sheer drinability i guess itís pretty high but for taste it light tasteless swill and has little to offer for anyone with a well trained pallate,BUT then again for .50 cents i guess i wonít complain to loudly.

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Much like a fine malt liquor, this can has a bunch of nonsense printed on it: the "Silver Star" is a "Pure Texan beer" that should be served "Texas-cold"(??). Pours completely transparent pale gold, small diminishing white head, no lacing. My nose either isnít sophisticated enough to pick up the aroma, or maybe there really isnít one. A little corn and ester, maybe? Light mouthfeel, goes down smooth, then this weird "bad beer" aftertaste seems to roil back up your throat and assert itself after you think youíre done.

Pale light gold. Tastes like diet lemon-lime spritzer, almost entirely flavorless. Light and fizzy, but hey, it doesnít actively suck, and for a light lager brewed in Texas, thatís pretty phenomenal.

0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
No aroma and no flavor in this pale yellow beer. While there is noting to enjoy here, there is also no offensive chemical odor or flavor or any other noticeable flaws.

Pours golden yellow with light aroma of corn and grains and a flavor to match... Even more depressing than regular Lone Star.

Bottle. Looks like a light pale lager, smells like a light pale lager covered with an inch of dust. Tatse-honey, cereal, ricey adjuncts, fizz. Quite sweet for a light Pale lager, and I don;t think that is a good thing.
